Any more info on Nikki dying? Search shows just 2 very vague obituaries, twitter and facebook both show no activity since reported death in September 2012. Anyone know details?

Hello Everyone,

My name is Patrick and Nikki was my beloved fiancé.

Firstly, I'd thank you all for being fans of Nikki's work. Although she left the industry a few years ago, I can see she still retained many fans and certainly understand why as she was truly the most beautiful girl in the world. Let me assure you she was an even more incredible and beautiful person and hence, the love of my life.

I apologize for the informal nature and delay of this message. It's been an incredibly difficult year and I don't know the first thing about sending out these kinds of official notifications...

Nikki passed away on the evening of September 16, 2012 at our home in Tarzana, California. She was only 25 years old. Her passing was completely unexpected and has turned many lives upside down, most notably those of her mother and myself. We had our whole lives ahead of us so needless to say, a large part of me died as well.

Unfortunately, this message is the closest to an official notification possible. Her mother and I did not notify any media outlets, partly because of Nikki's desire to place this aspect of her life behind her and because of our wish to keep this a largely private matter in this time of intense grief. However, I understand that as fans of Nikki's past work, it's only fair to make sure you were all aware of her passing.

Again, I apologize for the timing of this message and want to thank you all for your concern. Please keep us in your thoughts/prayers as life hasn't gotten any easier in the past year. I'd be happy to entertain any questions you may have regarding the matter, but please understand that she was my fiancé and I may not feel comfortable divulging certain details or discussing certain topics.
