You know, I learned something tonight. The Wall isn't quite the same when you're not drunk and stoned...but fortunately Zeppelin works no matter what. I still swear that they are the only band never to record a bad song. I knew I was REALLY into Zeppelin when I was younger (still am really), but I'm amazed that I still can name every song just from a few notes.....must have listened to them A LOT more than I thought. Ha ha ha!

Anyway, it got me to thinking.....if you could see any band, past or present, in concert in their prime......who would it be? I think I'd have to go with Zeppelin & the Grateful Dead. What about you Nikki......and everyone else for that matter?

The picture in post # 5378 doesn't any good on your beautiness, I mean, the photo was taken with the sun in front of the camera.
Allways make sure the light is behind the photographer.

Yes but not all pics I post are professional pics. Some are just candid pics. The one you're commenting on is from some pics a friend of mine took just screwing around

im also a fan of ponytails. im surprised we dont see more pictures of Nikki with a ponytail

I'm not crazy about ponytails on me. That's why. Pig tails are ok for pics but pony tails on me with my narrow face...just doesn't photograph right.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what was going on there. "A little odd" if you ask me.

Not to mention shady as fuck considering over half of the pics were from a private/personal phot set that a boyfriend and I took over a decade ago as part of a JOKE we played on his cousin and they were never released to the public so that's REAL odd and illegal and that jerk is now fully on my radar

now i would never turn down a Nikki Nova pic, but it almost feels like he was trying to offload all those pics as quick as he can.

i appreciate the effort firaso, but feel free to space them out next time. Nikki is like a fine wine, best to enjoy slowly, linger over, delight in every taste, not guzzled down like a shot

well Jon as you well know because I've personally told you and others on countless ocassions, Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time in my opinion so that would definitely be at the top of my list. There are many others though as well. Most of the bands I want to see, I have seen ...or met.... except for those that I was far too young for or ones that died so my other choices are of the past as well.

You can make great pictures against the sun if you have a flash that lights up the face...

Otherwise - The pigtails are a nice touch. generally trying to go for different hairstyles and looks is always a great thing :thumbsup:

Yeah, I know.....and you only got to see but a small percentage of what he originally posted. He literally posted something like 8 posts with about 50-60 combined links & an additional 4 posts containing pics that amounted to full photosets. By the time you saw it, P+D had already acted upon my reporting it, and he had pared it down to the 5 links you saw.

Even though my Monty Python post (plus 1 or 2 others, and jitna & Keith's posts) no longer make any sense.....I'm just glad it's all finally cleaned up in your thread anyway. I don't know what motivates people to act like douchebags, and I probably never will (which is probably a good thing actually). You're DEFINITELY right for keeping that jerk on your radar for what you know he did......even more so given what was deleted before you saw it. I won't say what I REALLY think about him, but it was even more "odd" given the fact that he had never even posted in the thread before. :2 cents:

Yeah, I know how you feel about Zeppelin too. When I go for one of my LONG late night walks, which I did last night......"Mothership" works out perfectly both motivationally and timing wise. There really isn't another band that I could NEVER get sick of listening to. But I totally agree with you, like I said also, Zeppelin is at the top of my list.....and any other band (like the Grateful Dead) that I'd like to see in concert in their prime is from the past as well. All I can say, as if it isn't obvious to all by now, you've DEFINITELY got GREAT taste in music!

Did my calling you dear do anything for you? I know I'm no Nikki Nova, but I gots to know just the same, 'cause, quite frankly, it kind of creeped me out actually (and I just did it). Ha ha ha!

Anyway, did you see that the Tasty Baking Company of Philly, makers of Tastykakes sold out to a southern company (Flowers Foods of Georgia)? They just started distributing Tastykake products in Louisiana.....of course now that I can't eat them. Ugh! The supply is limited right now (Butterscotch Krimpets, Cream Filled Chocolate & Koffee Cake Cupcakes, and two kind of Candycakes....and only Family Packs), and I don't know how extensive a roll out they plan, but yeah, Tastykake's in Louisiana now. I just think it's neat is all. Hell, I can remember when you couldn't even find them as far west as Pittsburgh.

my rule of thumb is if it has the word Philly in its name in the menu, its not a real cheesesteak.

also theres no way theyve got the right bread. its amazing how hard it is to get some decent bread outside of Philly

Even though I'm a vegan and this doesn't really apply to me...I still totally conquer. I wasn't born a vegan. I was carnivorous most fo my life and I kne wmy meat. haha

I just saw/heard that Fred Durst has signed on as the lead character in an upcoming CBS show titled Douchebag. I know, I know, "reality show" was the 1st thing that came to mind for me too......but, evidentally it's a sitcom! I don't know what is stranger.....that our society continues to hit all-time lows where even CBS doesn't find anything inappropriate about calling a show Douchebag (I mean, they DID bleep out the word "Shit" in the show "@#$#% My Dad Says"), or that Fred Durst has "finally" found a role that is so seemingly tailor made for him? Ha ha ha!

Yeah, tell me about it. That "Rapture/Apocalypse tease," Harold Camping, after "missing the mark" back in May, had "recalculated" it for today (10/21). "Surprisingly" it looks like he missed the mark yet again.....so, I guess we now have to wait until 12/21/12. On the brightside, if a ticket featuring Michele Bachmann & Herman Cain (or fill in any number of combinations of Republican front runners) wins the election that November.....I'm thinking everyone will be hoping that the Apocalypse REALLY does come on that date. We once elected a B-Movie actor, and we saw how that turned out.....now we're "really" considering the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza? Ha ha ha! Just sayin'! Ha ha ha!
