Anyway.... enough of my ranting and educating on the realities of this "biz" I am going to eat something and have some hot cocoa and try to have a pleasant and productive day. I hope you all do as well. I have a feeling that a few of you may have a learned a few things today, not just about me but also about the realities of law and the business etc and so on. Keep it all in mind when you interract with myself and other ladies. We could use some kindess and some support and some good people on our side. Just know that I LOVE and adore all of the friends I have made here and I am so glad to have you guys.

Hey I hear ya but let's even just break that down for a second on a real level. Having things "taken care of" Illegally or in a "street" way also costs money. Money that was already stolen from me. Ok and lets say I could come up with enough to "teach someone a lesson". It's not going to get me back what was taken. It's not going to undo the damage that was done and now on top of that I would have the added worry that I would then end up in trouble with the law or worse. It's just not worth it. At a certain point ya have to be willing to just let go and leave it in the past and have faith that everything will come full circle in time. I know I am a good person and I have never stolen from anyone. I have never betrayed anyone. I am honest as fuck. I am trustworthy. I am a really good fucking person pure and simple. Sometimes people question when bad things happen to them and ask "What did I ever do to deserve this?" Sometimes it's not about that. Sometimes it's about having to go through extreme circumstnaces and very difficult times to give us the kind of wisdom, strength and personal growth that we need in order to continue to grow and blossom into the person that we were/are meant to become. "Nikki Nova" is not my life's destiny. Lets just be honest about that. "Nikki Nova" has been and continues to be a PART of the path of the journey that is my life. Had it not been for those extreme circumstances over the past 5 years and the corners and situations that they backed me into, I might not have started taking the steps yet to start vering my life in a different direction. If you get too comfortable somewhere then sometimes you get stuck. Just ask my sofa. haha. I try to learn and grow and find the positive in everything. It has taken me years to get to this place and have this perspective about what I have been through these past 5 years but I am here now and I get it, or at least I feel that I do. It's all good. I am still going to be "Nikki Nova" for another couple of years maybe but I am also taking steps to further myself and my life in other areas as well. It's just a reality of life that has to be done....and it's all good.
On that note I really do need to go and get to it.

Well I appreciate that jitna. I have definitely been pissed off by the actions of a few random posters that came out of nowhere these past 2 days. A person is just that....a person. I just like anyone else can only take so much before I get angry and speak out. You guys have NO IDEA what I have been put through these past 5 years since my accident. Some of you do and I definitely don't want to get into it again but basically I had EVERYTHINg on EVERY LEVEL stolen from me fresh out of a coma from a massive skull,spine and brain trauma that I was not expected to live from. I was seriously mentally handicapped for years afterwards and I had my entire life's work and savings stolen from me, was signed into illegal contracts and deals and didn't even know what was happening. I had slimy sexual predators come at me and do incredibly unscrupulous and self serving things. I've lost my home and everything I've worked for these past 14 years. I drive a 13 yr old truck that I have had FOR 13 YEARS etc and so on. I finally get an amazing attorney that has helped a great deal with one of the situations but basically the things were stolen from me were stolen and are NOT recoverable. The law, I have learned is rarely just. Justice is sold to the highest bidder and when a person has had every dime stolen from them they are not going to be able to be the highest bidder. I finally start to feel a little safer and start my own Official Thread so people can at least get to know me and further theft occurs? It's fucking bullshit. Does anyone really have to ask why I have started to take steps to vere my life in a different direction? Seriously?

here's a question, and i hope i dont overstep my place, but as a veteran of "the biz" maybe you'll know the answer. if this kind of theft and underhandedness is somewhat common place, why isnt there some kind of protection fund to pay for lawyer fees? are people in the industry to hard to organize? ill admit im fairly ignorant to the whole matter, but it would seem like a good idea for you women to try to protect each other financially when you can

I'm about to be REALLY blunt and probably piss a lot of people off but what I am about to say is completely 100% honest. There is no such thing because this busines is about making a buck and looking out for oneself and there really isn't too much regard for the "talent" unless someone has a stake in making money off of them like an agent,manager,wemaster or a company that they are under contract with etc and so on. There should be things in this business like there are in so many other. Things like a union to regulate it and possibly even health care? That has never happend thus far and I doubt it ever will. People who work as "talent" in the "adut industry" aren't exactly respected at the end of the day. They are lusted after by many, idolized by some, exploited to all hell by almost everyone they've ever worked for ...but looked after or respected?....not quite so much. There's a stigma and a serious double standard moreso in this biz than most others and it's easy to see and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

i dont expect the "management" side of the business to change. its a shame that its the way it is and they are who they are. but id like to think it would be possible for some of the bigger names and better financial off people on the "talent" side to maybe start something to help look after some of the less well off or the more unfortunate.

You seem like the perfect person to help start a union for adult actors/models. You are adequately intelligent, passionate about the subject and an actress/model yourself. I'm sure you would find friends at the ACLU. I would think that they would have the pro bono legal help you would need.

I happen to agree with you. It seems that too many women are taken advantage of in the industry. The girls get abused and jaded and what fans don't realize is that it makes the talent resent the industry altogether. Far too often, we see our favorites leave the biz because they can't take the stress.

While I can appreciate your confidence in me I will not be taking that on. The past 5 yars of my life have been spent with dealing with nearly every angle of the legal system imaginable and what I need sir is to be free of the bullshit and not take on more. My aim is to fill my life with more positive things and less headaches....not more. That being said I feel the need to point out another aspect of the suggestions being made in refference to a co-op or a union for the adult industry. Just like any other competitive business, if a union was formed it is unfortunately almost positively likely that the people doing the hiring of talent would hire those NOT in the union and therefore that would inhibit people from joining if they want to work and get paid and be able to make a living. This is exactly what has happened in the B movie world for example. I was a member of the Screen Actors Guild for years and could not do non-union work. Almost ALL B" movies are non union due to limited budgets mainly. I have never been an aspiring actress so my union status did not matter that much to me. To be frank if I was an aspiring actress in any way I would NEVER have done the kind of work I have done. When a good friend asked me to do a non union "B" movie that she was co-producing I did it as a favor knowing the risk I was taking. That movie was Busty Cops. I went on to do several of them for my friend and ended up HAVING to do the last one against my will or the other producer was threatening not to pay her for not getting the talent he wanted. Put me in a pretty fucked up position. I haven't done any B movies since and may never again. I have like so many others (as you pointed out) grown disgusted with many of the ways in which this business lacks and have started to put my energies into my passions for my future. If someone else wants to take this on I would most certainly aid in it and help with my knowledge and experience but I do not have the time , resources or physical health to take such an endeavor on. Although I am no longer mentally handicapped from the injuries that I sustained in that accident there are some permanent physical handicaps and damage to parts of me that don't function properly and are severely affected by stress. The stress of the past 5 years has already taken a serious toll on my health as well as my life. I am not the person that can take something like this on. No more serious talk now. Let's get back to something a little lighter?

I just realized that it's Monday and I didn't do my Monday musings.

1). What does it say about me that in "Pride and Predudice" I am most like Mr Darcy?

2). Why is it so impossible to find chewy ginger cookies in any of the stores anymore?

3). I love to work to music in different languages or music with no lyrics so that the words do not distract me but fills the silence around me.
