NHL Finals

Games 3-7 will all be on NBC. For the last few years (at least since the point ABC took over from Fox), games 1 & 2 have been on cable, and 3 through 7 have been on the broadcast network.

I was hoping Edmonton would win but now I don't know.

I don't think the whole thing with the strike helped hockey much with respect for their television deals. It has come back stronger than I thought it would, but it could be that nobody wanted to dish out a large amount of money for something they had no idea how it was going to do in the ratings.

Edmonton wins game 3 so we have a series. The game tonight so far has been awesome....both teams leaving everything on the ice. That's what make the cup finals the greatest spectacle in sports. Until someone wins a game on someone else's ice, this thing is even. Great matchup so far....in fact, a WHOLE LOT better that most of the World Cup "football matches" I have seen so far.

From your lips to God's ears! What a game....Markkanen has filled in very capably for Roloson! When Rollo went down, I thought the Oilers were done. No way! Whoever win this game wins the series IMO. Both teams going at it with everything they have. The NHL is back in a big way.....great battle.

I thought it was going to be a 5 gamer after Roloson went down. Now it's looking like 7. I don't care who wins, neither are my team. After what hockey went through with that lockout bullshit I think it's a great finals and is putting hockey back on the front page where it should be.
