Habs fans don't deserve shit. They think the cup is handed to them because it is their 100th season. Fuck Montreal and their shitty fans. They deserved to lose. They praise and turn their back on their players in the same game. If a player isn't french canadien, he shouldn't play for the canadiens.

The problem is a lot of Quebecois don't want to play for Montreal because of the pressure the fans and the media impose on them.So unless it's via a trade , you won't see a lot of french canadian born star players with montreal. You will rarely see a super star quebecois player sign with Montreal as a free agent.

U guys see Avery's cheap shots tonight? Guy is just asking for it.

Yea I'm getting tired of his shit. If the Caps end up losing (which they won't, they have something up their sleeves!) I hope Brash goes over and sets his ass straight after the game via his fists.

Lucic, Thornton, Bergeron, Chara... I just hope they don't get suspended

yup. i think the cup is montreal's to lose. i think they can outplay detroit.

 Well that's a problem, cause Montreal already lost it.

They always say that a good goalie will take you to the cup, and unfortuantely for the Red Wings, Sharks, Ducks, and the entire West division: Luongo is king of the West. Hiller and the Ducks would be a good match for the Canucks, I think, but there is no team in the West that can match the Canucks right now.

Remember the Canucks were playing St. Louis.

As happy as everyone was when they made it to the playoffs, you have to remember...the Blues are still the Blues. "They are who we thought they were!" haaa

But really, without Luongo we probably wouldn't be talking about Vancouver at all.
We'll see what the Sedin's have when the going gets tough.

Whoa....wait a minute. I don't how how much of the Blues/Canucks series you watched but all the games were very tight. It wasn't like Vancouver blew us away. Luongo definitely was the difference and the Canucks are a definite player in the West. A hot goaltender can lead you to the promised land.

That said, no one is shocked that the Blues got swept. I think they felt happy just to be in the playoffs after such a long hiatus. Keep an eye on them....they are a very talented and very young team that will make a lot of noise over the next few years. You haven't heard the last of my ST. LOUIS BLUES.

It's never fun being swept, I'm sure, but St. Louis fans shouldn't have any bad feelings over this season. Considering they weren't even supposed to make it to the playoffs this year, I'd say this season has been a big success for you guys. Hopefully they get a good draft pick, and next year they could be one tough team to beat.

yup, yup, yup. watch this team. big, young, fast, seems like good coaching - they'll be contenders for the next while.

though we said the same thing about ottawa two years ago and they suck like an ugly girl on prom night.

Detroit is the 3rd team to advance to the semi finals after sweeping the Blue Jackets (although the Jackets put up a helluva fight in game 4)

Wow talk about trying to dump your teams problems on somebody else's shoulders ... Bob gainey accused Brian Lawton of being responsible for his team's debacle because he supposedly revealed publicly the names of the players montreal had offered for Lecavalier earlier this season ( Lawton denied it and said it was preposturous).I can't believe Gainey would try to pin the blame on a gm from ANOTHER TEAM and not take responsibility for his own bad decisions throughout the season.

So, if Anaheim defeats San Jose, they will face Detroit in the next round. If San Jose comes back, the Wings have a date with the Canucks.

For Detroit's sake, I hope Anaheim moves on to the next round. :thefinger

Yeah can the redwings just please get the hell out, because of they repeat again for the cup then the entire playoffs will be a waste!
I just watched game 4 and that was fucking pathetic. That game winning goal was a garbage goal because Columbus allows for every forward in red crash the net.

That too many men penalty should of never happened and its something coaches and players. really need to pay attention to.
