Ask the same people if they know who David Koci is and I'd bet there'd be very few people who do. If you think it's impressive to have half of the people at a sports bar know who their home team's best player, captain, and superstar is then you haven't been to a true hockey town before.

Go to a place like Edmonton and well over half the people at the SUPERMARKET will know every player on the team as well as several prospects in the **** system. They'll know who Lecavalier is too, since he's one of the league's top ten forwards for sure. I'm glad there are at least some good fans like you, but hockey is just not popular in Tampa.

Koci... Can't have fighting in the NHL. It will make the game look bush-league. Gary Buttman has done his best to **** the sport in the US. Bring in a freakin basketball goof and he thinks that he will make hockey a major sport in the US. Hope the US expansion fails that the owners fire his ass one of these days.

BTW, it sucks Mike Peca has a 5 game suspension for grabbing a ref.

Georges Laraque and Andrei Kostitsyn arent playing. Francis Bouillon and Chris Higgins could be dressed... we will see.

Panthers are pretty much underrated this year: they have a very solid defense.

Moreover, its Halak in the nets for Habs tonight.

i can watch 99% of the games because i have NHL Center Ice. damndest thing though, nearly all Ducks games are blacked out but those are the only ones. go figure.

I can get to my house from his, it's just a pain to get to and from, so I've only been going for Canucks games.

Im able to watch only games on CBC, which are usually Leafs, Flames and Oilers. I have to catch my Habs on the radio. Hopefully, the guys on the radio are doing an awesome job.

What's the status on Kostitsyn? I heard he left the ice on a stretcher last game.

He got hit in the middle of the ice, Scott Stevens style... The Habs havent accepted to let him talk to the media and havent said anything about his injury.

Its definatly a cerebral commotion. I just hope it wont be like Patrice Bergeron's or Simon Gagné's
