Kings would be retarded to make that trade. Honestly, I don't even really believe they would offer all that for just him.

Here here.

How about game 2? Crosby must be crying into his glass of milk right now. Him an Ovechkin are at an even-standing in this series so far, I think one of them will outshine the other in game 3.

and strangely it is the caps that have the momentum right now - ovechkin may end up out-lasting crosby regardless of who shines next...

sorry for the detroit fans out there, but it was surely nice to see them lose. and at home.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Canes simply outplayed the Bruins sunday night, they are a dangerous side. Ward has yet to lose a playoff series in his career. i think the Bruins will bounce back solid, but the RBC Center is gonna be insanely loud Wednesday night

I for 1 would love too see Ovechkin and his team oust crysby and the penguins. :yesyes:

I am happy for you that you were glad too see the Redwings lose, in Detroit to boot, but honestly it don't mean shit unless the Ducks win the series. :2 cents: and if by chance the Ducks do win the series, it just proves they were the better team, and had more desire to win. :dunno: but until that happens it was just an inconvenience, now the Redwings have to win @least one game in Anaheim. Champions overcome adversity, last year they did, will they this year? :dunno: but we shall indeed findout huh. :hatsoff:

I just don't think Detroit can keep up with Anaheim.

Serves Hossa right for only signing a 1-year deal. Is he going to sign with this years Stanley Cup champ for 1 year?

Also, does anyone else think Osgood is kind of a douche? He seemed like every other hockey player before they playoffs started, when people were saying he wouldn't be able to play well this year. Then when he finally won a few games he acts all cocky in front of the camera talking about his Cups and reminding people he has the most wins for a Red Wing.

Like I've been saying we shall findout, lets not forget Detroits allot deeper and can roll four solid lines on most nights, so in the course of the series that my slow the ducks down significantly, and lets face it Detroit only lost 1 game and the series is tied, if they can split in anaheim they're right back on track.

Hossa can do as he please's granted, but its still a long say to go for somebody to lay claim to this years stanley cup victor, Anaheim certainly raised their game and out lasted detroit in that 3 overtime game and it was quite impressive / amazing, but it doesn't mean they will win the series. Hossa if his greed is money, then he prolly leaves detroit, if he is smart, and just wants to win the cup, he stays in detroit, cause detroit is in the mix year after year. :2 cents:

No I don't think osgood is some kind of douche, for voicing his obvious frustration and finally playing to his obvious capabilities when they count, in the playoffs,

Osgood has been hounded all season by local and national critics about his POOR season , and questioned about his desire / capability to be a dependable / reliable, effective, playoff, goalie.

So when you raise your game and show signs of what you can do, and have done in the past, wouldn't you defend yourself in a cocky manner, such as your self confidece shining out, and saying look @ what I can do, have done, and its gotten me 3 cups...etc.. I think you would point the facts out as well. Osgood is NO worse than anyother goalie thats had to defend himself against critics, and you being a canadien citizen know Detroit is as hard on the their hockey players as Montreal is.. :glugglug::hatsoff:

Actually every Canadian market it pretty hard on their team, but Montreal is the worst.

Even in Ottawa, I remember when people were talking about getting rid of Alfredsson or at least taking the C away from him. Then a few years after he took the team on his back to a cup finals run.

Yeah I remember that, and last year it was emery, in vancouver its always the sundins, in montreal its everybody, and in edmonton its mactavish and used to be marchant.

toronto it was always kaberle and sundin, and antropov, etc.. and in Detroit its the same, if the Redwings don't win the cup their is always somebody thats gonna pay, or be blamed as the reason they didn't win, usually the weight falls on the goalie, even if the defense didn't man up, its still on the goalie. :dunno:

Apparently Phoenix just filed for bankrupty.

And now I get to hear more on that Ballaise faggot attempting to buy them and move them to Hamilton. I'm so fed up with this shit. Fuck off, Hamilton, your not a major city and you are not going to get a NHL team. Ever. If they move they will go to Kansas City, and even Winnipeg is a better choice. The sooner you all stop dreaming big, the better. Us in Saskatchewan came closer to getting a team then you ever did, but you don't hear us bitching.

(And because there is no one from Hamilton here, I ask you all ignore my rant and continue about your evening)

Yeah pretty arrogant and impatient of him to move "his" Nashville Predators to Hamilton. Maybe if he'd done things more quietly, eh?

I die to see Winnipeg and the Nords back

Go Canucks Go!

it was always sundin in toronto because he NEVER earned his keep. he didn't get the points he should have nor was the leader he should have been for the money he was making. so good to have him gone - made no difference in toronto's performance, however....

i lived in hamilton for years, and i think you're right - i don't think they can sustain a hockey team but it would be close. they might be able to do it.

actually, did you know there's talk of adding a second team to toronto? in the north end of town. i think that's not a bad idea, frankly. might get to see a toronto team in the playoffs finally.

FFS talk about bogus calls and terrible referee's! that was a Total missed call. that game should have been tied 2-2. That is a situation where the war room in toronto and the on-site supervising referee's official up in the TV and camera rooms should HAVE and be able to over ride ANY on ice official for exactly the purpose that just happened in the Redwings / Ducks game, especially in the playoffs. :dunno::mad::thefinger:cussing:

Other than that :bs: wtg Ducks you did it again.:dunno::hatsoff:

i am super pissed that, due to black out restrictions, Versus didn't air the Ducks frigging PLAYOFF game last night in Southern California

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
You know I am NO sore loser, and I know the Redwings are not gonna win every game, nor will they win the stanley cup every year, but the longer I simmer on the missed call last night, the more I think (IN ALL FAIRNESS) that the game should be continued starting @ 1:04 remaining in the 3rd period tied Redwings 2 / Ducks 2. :yesyes:

That was SUCH a :bs: way too lose on missed call / human error when its clearly and visually evident that the goal was legal and should have been counted.

The NHL SUCKS in regards to upholding its rules and enforcing them fairly without bias. and in a way that doesn't end with an unequivical MISTAKE. :uohs::eyeso::eek:
