More than Washington?
I don't see the Islanders wanting to give up Roloson, but Nabakov might be a good fit for the Lightning if he is willing to take a pay cut. He was one of the best goalies in the league, and being on a team that can't/can barely make the playoffs without him should hopefully keep the Lightning fans from bitching about his playoff record.
Sorry PlasmaTwa, but why the hell wouldn't the Islanders want to trade Roloson? He's 41 years old, he's their fifth-highest paid player ($3 million) and fifth-highest cap hit ($2.5 million), which is including Alexei Yashin's team-high salary and cap hit from when he was bought out. The team is dead last in the NHL by a very large margin and don't have any reason to keep an ancient, slightly above average goaltender who is being paid that much. And he's in the last year of his contract (and most likely his career). I guarantee they are looking to trade Roloson to a good team with goaltending issues who want a decent goaltender for the rest of the season and playoffs, such as the Tampa Bay Lightning. This team is in a rebuilding phase, and a guy like Dwayne Roloson is pretty much the epitome of what a team in a rebuilding phase doesn't want.
