NBA Allstar game

I'm more concerned with how all those players are are going to get their parole or probation officers to the game.

It's really sad how guys like Shaq, Yao and T-Mac all make the all star game when they were injured for a good portion of the season. They're all good players but it robs other deserving players from getting a spot. I don't think Yao is playing anyway but the point is these guys shouldn't have even been on the ballot in the first place.

we talk about basketball here.

There is no doubt about who's gonna win.....WEST WEST WEST
Nash Bryant Marion Nowitzki and Duncan......
Too much talent.

i'm sorry. i honestly didn't think there was such a thing as the NBA without drugs and guns :dunno:

It's hard to tell. Has any athlete in any sport ever taken an All-Star type game seriously in the last few decades? They’re almost like mini vacations now.

The West is my pick. I don't get to excited about the All-Star Game though as I consider it more of an exhibition. I used to feel the same way about the All-Star game in baseball until they made it have an impact on home field advantage.

I agree. I think the game is so loose with no real intensity to win or lose and for most of the atheletes they don't seem to broken up if they miss the game to heal up some minor aches and pains. I think they mainly care about getting picked to add another notch on their resume. And for some I'm sure it's just another extra check, like that Pacer rookie in the slam dunk contest that said he could care less about being around all those great atletes, he was just in in for the money.
That being said, I know the intention is just to have fun and put on a show for the fans, but knowing that I cannot take the game seriously.
