Nature Boy Ric Flair asked my mom to dance with him years ago.

No shit I totally forgot about Wendy Richter. Man we should have been talking rasslin a long time ago. Do you remember when Dr. D Dave Schultz slapped John Stossel around on 20/20?

I actually think Stossel played along with that one. Schulz was a scary dude. I definitely would not have wanted to have to scrap with him.

I'll talk pro wrestling any time you want. You and me are similar age and have seen much of the same stuff. I enjoy reliving the joy of my childhood waking up Saturday mornings to watch wrestling.

Poor Stossel almost got his porno 'stache knocked to the other side of his face. Dr D was pretty unpredictable and I have no idea how much a work that was.

Dr D was the real deal before Stone Cold. Legit crazy bounty huntin' motherfucker. Both had wives that sold for them like Ricky Morton taking bumps all over the house reaching out to the 911 operator for the hot tag.

"911. What's your emergency, brother?"

I watched every one of those. Dave seems to have mellowed as he got older. Thanks for those. Loved Piper's Pit.

Hey Blue, after watching the Morton Downey Jr Wrestling Show, what did you think of Thunderbolt Patterson? My first exposure to him was the break-up with Ole and then teaming with Manny Fernandez against Ole & Arn. I think he disappeared after that only coming back for that one PPV. I know that a lot of Black wrestlers don't get pushed but Patterson's problem IMO was that he was so damn weird. The way he walked and Collar & Elbow tie-up.

Some people say Dusty stole Thunderbolt's promo technique.
