I opened a myspace account hoping to use it as an opportunity to promote my business. All I have received so far have been "horny single ladies looking for fun"....yeah, I'm sure they're all just crazy about me. My advice....don't waste your time.

I use it, mainly for the music: it is really useful if you're into underground bands that otherwise have a very limited means of promoting themselves. And more mainstream bands often post rare tracks on their profiles. I think it's awesome.

That as well as www.last.fm. That site is quality if nobody has heard of it: you download a plugin for your Media Player on your PC, it then notes all of the bands you listen to, and makes recommendations accordingly. It'll even make you customised radio stations!

Yay for MySpace and Last.fm! :bowdown:

I was using myspace to annoy some of my friends, but after a week or so it got boring, so I deleted my account a few days ago. Myspace is a huge ball of confusion, where most people's pages will put your computer on lock down faster than a riot in San Quentin.
