Yes, fluids are also very important. A human can be without food for 3 weeks but only 3 days without fluids.
An adult person should ***** at least 1,5 litres of water per day to keep a healthy balance.

Also, I hope I don't confuse anyone by using the metric system when I describe volumes and other physical properties. I have no experience with the imperial system but I know that many of you are from the USA and only familiar with such units. Please forgive me for using the metric system and I hope that I haven't offended anyone!
