I should begin with stating that the terms "overrated" and "bad" aren't mutually inclusive and it's possible for somebody to be one and not the other so nobody should automatically get mad if I list somebody. It's not an automatic putdown. (Not that an overrated person couldn't also be bad, because that happens all the time also.) I think most of the Freeones Top 20 babes are overrated more often than not. The worst are Shyla Stylez who is one of my most overrated ever IMO. She's only beaten out by Gianna Michaels, probably the most overrated pornstar of all time. I say that knowing a lot of people here are fans of them. I can just never see it with them. Sara Jay is another head scratcher. Eva Angelina is getting up there. She used to be good, but even well before she got pregnant it seemed like she was a person that had stuck around in porn or at the very least did way too many scenes. When the whole throwing a hotdog down the hallway analogy starts begging to fit then maybe it's time to hang it up or slow down before you burn out. Amy Reid has gone way downhill since she first started, ditto for Audrey Bitoni. There are good lessons on not to handle a career in the industry there and how not to screw yourself up with cosmetic surgery. Jesse Jane has always been overhyped and never really lived up to her promise. Tera Patrick isn't what she once was, but I do give her credit for being smart and extending herself and her career without resorting to the lowest common denominator to stay alive in porn or milk it for all it's worth before it cast you out like yesterdays trash.

Jenna is a special case. I think she is overrated, but her overratedness almost needs an asterisk next to it. Unlike all the others instances with pretty much everybody else in porn, she's more overrated in the sense that she's became a victim of her own success in that respect. After a point she got so big it was impossible to actually be that good. For most people I don't think it was like they looked at her and had to scratch their heads wonder why a lot of people might like her in the first place.

I agree with most of this post. I'll add Tori Black to the list...yeah she's ok, but one of the best? A definitive no...oh and Sasha Grey

I will also like to amit I'm not an avid watcher of porn and don't give a damn about a pornstar's "performance". All I care is that they look good (I prefer standard models actually)...in fact the "dirtier" the girl the worse it is for me.

So no way they are overrated...
Also, I think Jenna is a very special case as she clearly reached in our collective mind a legendary status, without Jenna porn would not have been the same.

to me overrated would mean someone who was stoved down your throat 24/7 365 days a year (more so than ever before. i am mid 30s i can say this, i would know)
