Perth is a great city to visit if you wish to go swimming, surfing and going on bike hikes and walks very relaxing

not a lot of huge touristy things yet as we are only 175 years old! give us a chance to grow lol.

The clubbing scene on the weekend is great but i don't do it anymore as i am a pub man

I got to say Vancouver British Columbia, its not beause I live here. I jsut cant leave this sity its so beatiful, the scenary, mountains, the slopes its all good here, and I love it

I'm going to live in Perth for a year next year when i sort out all the paper work etc, cant wai to try swimming with sharks, etc... and Aussie babes

I'm not typical for this subject, since I like the character of industrial, gritty cities much more than I like the picturesque. I seriously love looking at industry and factories and even run-down hulks of buildings.

That being said, the cities I've been to that look the best to me are Toledo, Ohio and Gary, Indiana.

If I had to go with "typical" beauty, I would vote for NYC.

Yeah, as in the architecture, the skyline, the Statue of Liberty (though it is in NJ), Central Park, Broadway. Sure it has some lousy areas, but all cities do. Though I see you didn't mention actual cities, even though that's what the thread asked for.

OK, you're right about the city thing. Yeah, New York is a mixed bag. The Bronx and Brooklyn are basically crappy, Queens and Staten Island nothing really interesting, but Manhattan isn't too bad. I just always loved the skyline.

Chicago has an awesome skyline and the summers here rock with activities and festivals. The only thing that sucks here are these Midwestern winters.
