More New Metallica.

St Anger was shit. It seemed like they were trying to be a new band. Death Magnetic is just some old dudes playing hard rock. I liked it.

I know some one who likes playing guitar and he thinks some of the G-tar work in DM is quite good. I know it's to each his own and all that. But I just can't stand DM at all. It just sounds like a heavier Load and Reload to me. Jimmy boys vocals are one major fun killer. He's a joke now when it comes to singing. Back in the day he was bareable but today he is unbareable with his "new style" of vocals. "Hey hey hey yeah-he-yeah" get real Jimbo.

Not really new, unreleased from Death Magnetic...so y'all cool dudes will probably hate it and start running your mouths about how they haven't been good since '88 and Megadeth is way better. Kill yourselves.

They were never good. Ever. Slayer>Testament>Anthrax>Megadeth>Metallica.

St. Anger was the biggest piece of shit I ever heard. So much so that I totally ignored Death Magnetic. Is it actually worth listening to?

The whole Some Kind of Monster really turned me off too. It made them look like a bunch of whiny divas. Those two things are really hard for me to forget and like them again. I my have to move on and get more into Megadeth.
Death Magnetic is their best album of ORIGINAL material since The Black Album.
Surprisingly, it rocks like a mufucka.

Necro bump! I was looking through shit I have in my storage container, and I found this set list from that show. Kind of pointless, but, then again, so is everything else I post on Freeones. :)

METALLICA AND MEGADETH are still awesome. I am a lifetime (since 85) fan of both bands. If you don't like them, they nor I give a fuck. So... :dropdead:

And that unreleased stuff was released as an EP late last year. It is called "Beyond Magnetic."
