Nope, apparently 'pornstars' aren't allowed a profile on there. At least that's what they told me when they deleted my account that I had had for 4 years and wouldn't let me create a new one!

Really? When was that? Because recently I have seen a hand full (albeit not many) of pornstars on there, and not just solo pornstars. MM cant have it both ways. If theyre going to allow models that do any kind of nudity, they should allow pornstars as long as they dont put hardcore pics on their profile.

This is exactly why I **** MM now, it's nearly impossible to use as a professional tool because of how many people that want to use it for dating, fapping or playing fake photographer.

MM doesnt allow people in the members' section who arent photographers. If you dont want the pics used just for fapping then just take all of your pics into the members section. What is the beef here? If I want to go to the public section of MM in which there is not a charge or membership required, then I will do it thank you very much. It is my computer and my monitor. I dont share the pics, though sometimes I do post the links.

Yep There's plenty of porn out there in the world, so people should be looking at actual porn sites for their masturbation material, not professional sites for people looking for work. It's about the same way I feel about people perving on random girls' Facebook pictures and sharing their personal photos without their knowledge on porn boards and such.

There is an easy way to stop that: Dont post pics on facebook in the first place. At the very least, set your facebook page to private and dont allow just anybody as a friend.

But the point is, it's not a porn site. It's a business site, where people in the industry who are working or looking for work to come together and find jobs. The pictures aren't put up to be jacked off to, they're there for prospective clients to pick up jobs.

ModelMayhem would never, ever let people pay to get access just to masturbate to the girls. They are very anti-porn material, as again, that's not what it's for.

Unfortunately Met Art isnt what I consider to be true artistic nudity. There should be more artistic nudity in softcore porn that is commercially available, and pornstars should do more artistic nudity and less hardcore scenes. It would help prolong their careers. And I think Will Worm is talking about fake aliases. He isnt talking about real names or addresses or anything like that.

For the record I never said I had any problem with guys finding my MM photos or bating to them..
what I have a problem with is what a time-wasting, unsafe space it has become because of guys that are just there to get turned on.

There is no longer much professional merit to it as a tool because of how many people already don't take it seriously.
I'm only saying charging for memberships just so people can see stuff or trying to make accounts just to see photos, it just further exasperating the issues on there that already exist.
But of course you guys keep putting all the responsibility back on models or any woman who takes nudes.. which is nothing new.

Well this all escalated quickly. I agree with the girls though, unless you are part of the industry you don't really have any business creating a profile on there.

I still have a personal account on there but I haven't logged on in over a year. I used to have one for my Harley Spencer modeling and did fine, they're just a little strict when it comes to posting spreads and obviously sexual content. I deleted that one because I was getting some people who were discovering both my accounts and linking my real to stage name, and was a bit tired of people trying to book me for tickle videos and stuff.

Nope I didn't have any nudity in any of the pics on there. They specifically told me that I am not allowed an account because I am part of the adult industry and that isn't allowed on there.

More artistic nudes don't pay as well, and don't sell as well. While there are people like you who enjoy the more artistic side of adult content, the majority of buyers don't, therefore it doesn't have enough of a market to sell to.

Many of the models on MM don't use aliases, they use real names and real locations, as well as sometimes personal emails. If we didn't put our towns and states on there, we wouldn't be able to book work. People have to know where we are so that they will know if we're close enough to shoot together. Even for my personal MM, I used my real first and middle name, and the town and state that I lived in. People who knew me as Harley Spencer started discovering my other profile while they were searching for fap material, so people that I didn't want to know, found out my real name and where I lived. Which of course eventually led to me deleting my HS profile.

For it being the "#1 portfolio website for professional models and photographers" as per Google ... in my opinion, it could use a name change. If there are inappropriate people invading the place, the "Mayhem" in their "Model Mayhem" name isn't helping. In my opinion, it is conveying something other than 100% professional models.

It is similar to when in recent times it was commented and suggested by many people here at FreeOnes to the ClubSeventeen site that the "*********" part of the name conveyed a certain something that they did not like. It might have seemed like a small detail at the time of the name's creation, but obviously that "*********" generated unintended reactions from a lot of people. Likewise, a lot of people are no doubt misinterpreting that "Mayhem" part of the "Model Mayhem" part of the name.

I don't agree with how privacy is out the window, but that's how it is and it's only getting worse. You have to be extremely pro-active to keep your lives separate, that's for sure.


We work daily trying to help models maintain their privacy here at FreeOnes. Its a hot topic that I am adamant about. The good news is, we never ever ever share personal info of the models or our members with anyone. For example, I have never told anyone I've seen Petra's butt.

Fair enough, for the record I do think James' request to Harley is inappropriate - sorry I forgot that is what this whole thread is originating from. Just want to make sure fans arent being made to feel like stalkers just for looking at the public section of Model Mayhem. There are some good pics on there that just cant be found on a lot of paysites.

That's what I was afraid of. And that is a big problem with adult entertainment. Fans are a bunch of apes that dont understand the concept of erotic variation. It would help their enjoyment of porn and it would help the careers of many adult entertainers .
