I see Kerchoke is back to postseason form.
Diamondbacks 11, Dodgers 2
The AL East sent three teams to the postseason (including the top 2 teams with respect to wins) and they went a combined 0-7 - not winning a game! Birdland is shut down for the season.
It was a wonderful run while it lasted.

Hey -- Just like most years, the Dodgers played a few more games than the Giants ... and like every year, they have been eliminated by another team in the playoffs.
Congratulations to Torey Lovullo, the Arizona Diamonbacks, to Zac Gallen and Joe Mantiply.
Game 2 and Game 3 - Diamondbacks 4, Dodgers 2.
The Los Angeles Dodgers -- they really suck!
(It's been 35 years, since 1988, when they last won ** a World Series.)
** As for 2020? That's a joke. Sixty games played does not make for a real baseball season.

In 2023, the one hundred win teams - Rays (99), Orioles (101), Dodgers (100) and soon to be Atlanta Braves (104) will be teams that will be eliminated.

Bruce Bochy becomes only the third manager ever to win World Series Championships with two MLB teams, with the Giants (3 times) and the Rangers. Joining Hall of Fame managers Sparky Anderson and Tony La Russa in accomplishing that feat. Anderson did it with the Reds (2 times) and Tigers. La Russa did it with the A's and Cardinals (2 times)

The Sox won tonight in Balto. They are 5-5 against the Guardians, but 3-33 against the other three teams in their division.
The '62 Mets are cheering them on.
