Wanted to put an end to the speculation...

I was on LSU's message board when I stumbled onto this topic someone posted about that web-cam porn star who got murdered in Kansas sometime last year...Zoey Zane.

Someone started talking bad about porn and all of a sudden a guy came to the defense of porn saying that his friend is currently married to a former porn star and she had worked in the business for 10 years...(it says Misty worked from 1999-2006 on iafd, making it seven...but a rough estimate)..

Anyhow if you click to the second page you discover who he's talking about..he first says "Misti" Mendez, but then corrects himself by saying "Misty". Her husband was best man at the poster's wedding too. Plus keep in mind that she hasn't put any movies out since '06 and that post was posted sometime late last year.

So there you have it. She retired due to getting married. If you want more proof, here's the link on where I found it.

Shame because she was such a fox. Chances are that she still resides in Los Angeles so for people who live out here maybe You Might run into her one day.

One more thing...

I saw on IMDB that her birth name was Michelle Acosta. So to that person who said he wished she had a myspace..I may have found it.

I curiously looked her up on myspace and I found this intriguing one. You can look it up too if you search under Michelle Acosta and you'll see her next to a Tigger mascot, lol.

The reason I think this may be her is because, while the picture is small:

-she has reddish hair similar to the red hair she had in her last few movies..plus she looks rather short.
-Her chest seems to stick out a lot and that's what she was known for ;-)
-The profile is private
-and her age is 33..and her last login was the 26th of May..two days before she turned 33 on the 28th. (said so on IAFD).

Her profile is on private which must mean she is trying to leave her past behind but I am curious to see if it's really her so I messaged politely and I'll let you guys know.

So it looks like Misty retired from porn a couple of years ago. That sucks, I had barely discovered her. She did an excellent job.
