Miss Universe Canada Discriminates Against Transgender Female...

Source
A beauty pageant has booted a contestant out the competition after discovering the buxom blonde was born a boy.

The Miss Universe Canada organizers threw out Jenna Talackova when they found out she had undergone surgery to become a woman.

The transgendered contestant had already successfully reached the finals in the Miss Vancouver pageant before she was banned from continuing in the competition.

Seriously, I don't know what the people of Miss Universe's problem is?

Isn't there something called equal rights?

Plus it's not like she was going "BANG... Look at my wang!". :1orglaugh

To me, this is totally fair.
These contest elect the most beautiful womeen, I think it's fair not ot accept contestants wich feminity is 100% fake.
I I was to organise such a contest, I would only accept girls that are 100% natural.

Isn't there already a Transgender Universe contest? Why didn't s/he enter into that? A non-Transgender person woudn't be allowed to enter into it, so why would a Transgender person think it would be okay to not let the contest officials know this before hand?

When will we be able again to set our own rules in our own ventures and to enforce them without the equal rights and politically correct people feel offended and protest?
That male has the right to feel a female, but he still carries male chromosomes, we like it or not, and naturally he remains a male no matter what he carries between his legs. If there is a private contest open to females and forbidden to males i don't see any connection between cheating and equal rights. Society should treat each and every individual the same way, no matter their gender, but a private contest with clear rules remains a private contest with clear rules. Or not?

I bet you that i cannot participate in the Miss Trans Contest. Shall i feel discriminated?

The fact that she was purposely deceptive is an underhanded tactic... but what I actually feel about this I dont know. A transgender in a sporting event would have an unfair advantage in strength against other female opponents, but in a beauty contest I cant (yet???) see the unfair advantage. Many contestants have been under the knife & so called 'improved themselves' so the issue of not being 100% natural could possibly apply to a lot of entrants... But where do we stop with political correctness (baa baa rainbow sheep..... ???) ; can we all just enter everything or do we need some simple guidelines so the world of competition doesnt become a big schumozzle!!!

Those contest have rules. If you don't fit the rules, you can't participate.
Otherwise, I would be multiple times Gold Medalist in Paralympics, even thought I'm 0% disabled

I think that there is a 60% possibility, women who were born a woman have entered the transgender competitions and haven't been discriminated because as far as those who are transgender, they consider themselves to be female and don't discriminate against those who were born how they wish to have been born.

I bet you, that if you were to enter a transgender competition, you wouldn't be discriminated against for being born a woman. Although you'd have an advantage, I think? ;)

Many contestants in pageants (etc), have had complete overhauls... Botox, boob jobs, nose jobs, that strange thing with the fat being sucked out. You name it, they've done it. So therefore, they should go home for not being 100% natural.

Transgender female is an oxymoron.

"She" was born a man, hence she remains a man and has no place in a beauty contest for women.

Cross dressers or that crazy bunch that has surgery, then delude themself they are indeed women are full of shit. Like those recent news stories "man gives birth", what a crock. You wanna be gay, be gay - But do not play the "Im born in the wrong body" shit, its not a valid arguement and I wont acknowledge it.

Just because you were born with a penis and had it removed and in place now have something resembling 3-day old salmon sushi doesn't make you a woman. Just like the reverse, the guys who have implants and then prance around as women - Check out that giant hormone shriveled cock between your legs? Your a guy!

I didn't say i'd be discriminated: i said i couldn't enter the contest and if i did and then they caught me they would rightly disqualify me for having broken a rule. My question "shall i feel discriminated" was a rethorical one. Of course i shouldn't; i should feel a liar who has been rightly disqualified from a contest for having cheated. I'm really sorry, but i don't understand where you see anything to do with equal rights. I think Miss Universe as well as Miss Trans organizations have the EQUAL right to set their own rules for their own private venture/contest and all the contestants have the EQUAL duty not to break those rules which they accepted and signed as soon as they applied. We are talking about cheaters. What does it have to do with equal rights?

LOL, this argument is absurd. I don't know what criteria these contests or pageants have for winning, but if she impressed the judging officials sufficiently to win, why would her chromosomes matter to anyone. Is there some blood test taken where chromosomes do battle for points.

Discrimination.

I'll bet a lot of guys are thinking "Holy fuck, that was a close one. All the Ms. Universe winners I've been getting in the sack lately, I could have ended of up fucking this way out of my league ts girl!" Lol

As far as I know, there obviously isn't a Ms. Universe Transgender competition, so I don't think anyone needs to be outraged over being excluded from that. At least she didn't try drinking from the same drinking fountain as the genetically born girl, I can't even imagine the potential outrage over that. . .

You happen to be just wrong.

"Must born male, be a transvestites or transsexual (pre and post-op, proof of natural gender may be requested in form of birth certificate or doctor's genetic verification)"

There is no discrimination and therefore no equal right bs involved in disqualifying a trans who entered a contest for females; there are rules that you are asked to endorse if you wanna take part in a contest: you break them, you are out, be you gay, straight, trans, black, yellow, muslim, catholic or a freeones member.

This case is a little more difficult than sports and athletics. It's not like she had an advantage being transgender. Lots of those girls are physically "fake" in aspects. Still, according to the article the contest rules do specify naturally born females, so that's that really. The contest organizers decide who is eligible to participate...although if a transgender looks good enough to compete then hey, why not let her.

You wanna be gay, be gay - But do not play the "Im born in the wrong body" shit, its not a valid arguement and I wont acknowledge it. !
I think it's a possibility, since every person starts out with an undetermined gender and female is the "default setting". Perhaps the brain isn't fully masculinized during fetal development for such people. There's evidence to support this as a possibility.

The present findings of somatostatin neuronal sex differences in the BSTc and its sex reversal in the transsexual brain clearly support the paradigm that in transsexuals sexual differentiation of the brain and genitals may go into opposite directions and point to a neurobiological basis of gender identity disorder.

The brain and body are not one.

Well those rules are important. We don't want people with stars to compete on the No Star Sneeches Contest. BTW, you forgot to ineptly insult Jewish people in this post. I would dock points in an Ignorant Post contest for that. Sorry, those are the rules.

One other observation: If a person with a physical handicap wanted to compete in the "Non Special Olympics", would that be allowed?

But they are! Only certain handicaps are banned from competing, namely anything with a prosthetic.

Natalie du Toit was the first amputee to compete in the regular Olympics and that was in 2008 as a swimmer
