★Miss FreeOnes Round 2! December 2nd - 16th!★

with the limited amount of votes many girls are going to not be getting the votes they were the first time around so it's going to be a very different round I have a feeling, which is a good thing as it will show more concentrated results. When people get 10 votes they end up throwing 3 or 4 to someone as a throw away so to speak, but when they only have a few they choose more carefully and the field narrows.

That's quite a profound couple of statements. Isn't there a substantial risk that a greater group of disenfranchised voters and their free votes would make the contest more unstable, not more consolidated?

Stars like Vicky Vette, Mariah Milano and Nikki Nova are going to have continued career success no matter how they do in contests of this sort. Some of the newcomers like Tegan Brady and Kortney Kane are taking full advantage of this opportunity but far too many that registered squandered the chance. Miss Hybrid showed last year what can be gained if you play your cards smart. I'm surprised so many didn't learn the lesson.

Aww. Jitna thank you for this. I totally hear what you are saying and I get it and I appreciate it. I am just saying that a lot of the girls are also doing everything I mentioned before as well as being a big participant in this board/thread. There are also a lot of girls that are not even posting here or barely posting or just recently started etc that are and have been posting on twiiter and sending out mass emails to their mailing lists etc. I am only here on this thread and just going with the flow. I am actually shocked that I jumped to 10th place! I JUST saw that myself!! I can't even tell you how grateful I am for that. Definitely makes me feel good.

Here's a little less muddy explanation of what I meant:

In the first round each voter had 10 votes...he might have had let's say 5 or 6 girls he votes for because he is a true fan. Then another 2 or 3 he sees as contributing and earning his vote. that leaves him with another 1 or 2 he can give away randomly or because he sees a pic or profile he likes.

well this round, all he has are those 5 votes he gave automatically to his favorites in round one, so those other 5 girls who got those votes, don't get them in round 2, get it now?

thats pretty much how its been for me. though, fortunately, or unfortunately, some of my faves didnt make it to the second round so ive got a few free votes still floating around (though obviously less than i did last round) that someone else can earn, like Bobbi Eden did today (though she may be holding onto it for a while)

I've got to go with you on this. New comers and cam girls. Can get on here and make their name. Show us some love and we will show you our love. Post a vote with a screen shot and get a free cam show. New comers, Next year you won't be one. Jump start next year with a showing of your work TODAY. Look at how many veterans didn't make it to this round and won't make the cut next round. Do what the girls at the top are doing and try doing it better or different. If for anything you will get a few more subscriptions.

...and this is exactly what I mean. For those who didn't vote for anyone who made it or for those who have "spare" votes in this round, it serves to increase volatility.

Pretty difficult to predict the behavior of voters after the first round. Some may get discouraged because their fav girl or 2 or 3 didn't make it and drop out all together..

You then wonder who some people may shift their votes to and if their criteria changes for who they support after the first round...

I just vote...make the occasional lame or 'try to be funny' post like this one and compliment the chicks I like. I hope the girls I support win but it's a contest and one of this nature there are probably thousands of different methods voters are using to make their decisions.

With the traffic volume that Twitter gets it only makes sense for girls to use that for promotional purposes but I feel way too many girls have fallen into the trap of thinking Twitter is a cure all or magic bullet that makes hard work unnecessary. The smart girls in the adult business know better. Selling sex in a busy neighborhood is great...but you have to study the underlying demographics. If that busy neighborhood is made up of mostly seniors or religious fanatics that oppose sex...then you might have a wee problem.

Oh God no. I hope I didn't come across like that because that makes me sound snooty. Let me explain. I was in this contest last year and sent out the email mailers to my past and present website members and posted on twitter all of the time etc. It may or may not have helped get me few votes but in the end i didn't really even have a shot at the top spot or a win and it ended up having a bad effect in other ways. People can unsubscribe from my website mailing list just like any other mailing list. Many of them did after that and I put myself in their position. If I was a member of a site and started getting hit up everyday or every few days to vote in some contest it would feel like I was being spammed and it would probable be a lil' annoying. My website members are very important to me and I want people to feel like they enjoy themselves there. If they are a previous member that maybe isn't a member anymore then I certainly don't want them to regret their decision to have joined in the first place due to some annoying emails they are now getting. It's kind of the same with twitter. I may post something again on twitter at some point but not regularly and for sure not daily. My twitter page is for the people that I choose to let follow me actually get to know me and have fun. I mean of course I mention my site on there once in a while but again...not regularly. If I am already doing that and then I start posting to vote for me in a contest all of the time I will feel like I am spamming them as well. It's just a personal choice. I technically have done it, it's just been EXTREMELY rarely...as in twice so far since the beginning of the contest on twitter and not once anywhere else. That's all I'm saying. The weird thing is I seem to be doing better this year so far than I did last year. Makes no sense. hahaha
