IMO, the contest should only be for those OCSMs who actively participate on the board, not just show up for contest time. I dunno ... that would actually make some kind of sense.
If FO wants all of its members to take part in a "contest" that's not really a contest, why not sweeten the pot to motivate our participation? For example, how about a point for each vote cast? If we can't get a fair outcome, give us some other reason to participate in the farce.
Here's an idea: Skip the contest altogether and hand the Miss FO title to Christy Mack right now (or some other chick who becomes an OCSM just in time to be eligible for the contest).

Sure it would be great if only board girls could win. But that does very little to help FreeOnes gain traffic and $ which is the main purpose of the contest. As it should be since they are the ones putting it on!
If people got points for casting votes, oh my god I can't imagine the cheating and scheming that would stem from that, I think that it would be make things way worse.
What Miss Hybrid and Mandy said was spot on...we models need to use to contest simply as a platform to gain followers, fans and get our names out there. That is it and if there are girls who choose not to see it for what it is and take advantage of an awesome opportunity, then they are missing out on some great exposure. Not my problem if they don't have good business sense.
This contest should not be a reason to get your panties in a bunch. Take it for what it is, and for fuck sake ENJOY the floods of hot nudie pics from the ladies in the running!!

Might cause some drama at times, but at least the participants actually give a shit, so the site still gets traffic.
I think it's fun to see how much further I get every year, the longer I'm an active participator in the board.
Though I honestly don't know how so many gorgeous ladies find the time to post on here SO much, we're lucky.

Well, here we go again... it hasn't even started yet, and the same complaints have already resurfaced. 
My two cents: Too many board users are unable to distinguish the difference between the Best OCSM category, and the rest of the contest. People have the right to vote for whoever they want, for whatever reasons they want. Don't be butthurt when someone doesn't agree with your choice, especially if you're basing it strictly on OCSM activity across all categories. Why should someone in the "Best cam girl" category garner more votes based on her number of board posts, rather than how she performs on cam and what kind of show she puts on? Votes are already significantly skewed in favor of those who post on the boards. Not good enough for ya? Start fundraising and launch your own contest.
(Btw, that was just an example. Briana Lee's 2x win in the Cam Girl category was well deserved! And yes, I can attest to that, because I've actually seen a couple of her YDC shows awhile back.)
