Thanks for letting us know. The ones I mentioned earlier all seem to be working now. Still getting the black box, though sometimes it's also showing up like I haven't voted for a girl and can still vote for her, but then when I try to again, it gives me an error that I have already voted for her. That may just be some more of the same cache issue, but I figure you should still know it's happening.

I've had this happen a few times too and had others report it. The dev believes it's related to the caching an should be solved when the fixes are uploaded. That won't happen today, but hopefully tomorrow.

We're aware of this. It's one of the reasons that voting anonymously has such a tiny weight. Plus, our system is very good at catching these types of things. ;-)

I chose the Best Adult Model category as the 1st category in which to engage in this Beta Round Testing. Well, right off the bat, that I can see, Andi Land, Ari Dee, Callista Model and Lolita Borgia are missing in the Best Adult Model category.

And those are just the ones of which I am aware. I wouldn't be surprised if other girls are missing from this category and possibly from other categories.

Or is it purposely a reduced group in the Beta Round or what?

Here is what I am seeing on the Best Adult Model page:

As you can see, I do have them set to display in alphabetically order, but they're just not all displaying ... including the ones I mentioned in my previous comment.

I did get to vote for Andi Land, but only because I did so by finding her thumbnail on some other page, not on the Best Adult Model page.

Even if I click on the "Click here for the full list" link, the girls I have mentioned are not in those 50 names.

And all the other categories' pages have that same quirk of not actually displaying all of the girls that are supposed to be there.

I could be wrong, but this time I don't think my Blink-based Opera Browser could have anything to do with this.

Currently, the phase is round 2 so the girls you see are the ones that made it through the "elimination". There was only 500 or so votes at the time we ran the elimination script, so don't take it as gospel on that's what will happen for the real contest. ;-)

- on these pages, add an overview tip when you put your mouse on a babe saying as an example "babe also involved in Best Newcomer contest"
- maybe like previous years add a checking case below every girls portrait so we can vote them directly in the main page without wasting time opening each girl profile page, then choosing a category, then vote... (add a script that check if too much checkbox wasn't checked)

hope at least these two-three thing could be done before sept 1st, then will wait 2015 for a more mature version

I did notice that Danielle FTV is in the "Best Newcomers" category, which seems a little odd as she has been around for a few years and has even been an OCSM since 2008

Thanks for the feedback. They're all good ideas. However, I can't add any more new features. If you ever start doing work for a web company, you'll understand that changes are a long thought out process otherwise it's pure chaos.

Unfortunately, I don't think we're really going to have any "results" from this beta run since we've had to change several things during the first 2 rounds, reset the rounds and we didn't clear the database each time.

I'll make another post about it tomorrow or Monday morning, but we're going to do open beta #2. We'll reset everything, clear the database, and run through it again since enough significant changes were made to the code to make sure all the voting blocks show up for everyone at the same time. No unfair advantages on my watch! ;-)

So I should be able to give you a "winner" in beta 2.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I probably accidentally clicked that category it when trying to get her into best ocsm. ;-)

Out of curiosity, I decided to test something. I went over to the Best OCSM category page. From there I was able to access the Dashboards for those 3 girls. Well, lo & behold, even though they are supposed to already have been eliminated from the Best Adult Model category in Round 1 ... I was able to vote for ALL those 3 girls in the Best Adult Model category by selecting "Best Adult Model" in their Dashboards, which I accessed from within the Best OCSM category page.

Yep, all those 3 votes were accepted and my votes remaining count went down instead of getting a message that those 3 girls were no longer eligible in the Best Adult Model category.

Unfortunately, we're done with beta testing for this week. Enough went wrong once it went from our test environment to live that it's just not worth it running it any longer.

Our plan is to finish fixing everything and we'll restart beta on Monday (afternoon probably) so that we can try to run it from A to Z without having to fix anything.

This is one of the problems I discovered yesterday after round 2 started. This obviously has to be fixed.

We shut down the beta since it's pointless to run it. We know that it will hold up to the load, now we just need to make sure the new functionality works right on the panels as well as some other glitches that came up during the beta.
