Though I was not a large fan of his music, and sometimes made jokes about him (I won't make them any more), he was associated with a big period of history in general, and a large period of my own life... Now it all has gone into past.

it is a shame that so much controversy was present in his later time in his career, but there is no deny that the man had real talent. And, for that reason it is sad to see him. May he RIP.
