I absolutely 100% do NOT agree with this. TMNT was supposed to be a parady of some very awesome comics at the time (Daredevil, New Mutants, Cerebus, and Ronin), and yet, they took off on their own and became something that was epic! While some tweeks here and there with the movie and the animated series did change some things around, but ALIENS?!? Come ON!

You know I tend to like Michael Bay movies, you don't have to think too much and you get crazy action with hot chicks. I also didn't have a problem with him when he did Transformers. Sure, I wasn't crazy about the second one but overall I enjoyed the movies. Now...

Remember the shitty anorexic TMNT ten years ago? I figure they would have moved on to bastardizing '90s franchises such as Animaniacs, Freakazoid, or Rugrats, etc, etc, etc...

Seemingly not. Still stuck in the '80s because that was the last of great cartoons. Few '90s cartoons came about, don't get me wrong, I loved a lot of them but nothing captures the essence of cartoons like late '80s and early '90s.
