Mostly Merry Christmas,but I really don't say anything to anyone so it really doesn't matter
And I support your point. But my point is that the majority of the United States is christian and the big holiday is Christmas. And for a long time this was not a problem and I have respect for other religions and beliefs. But what I don't like is when people suddenly get offended or may be hurt. And we have to change our practices for them...uh excuse me the last time I checked, the majority rules. But now, its being politically correct or sanitizing the society so people may not get offended or whathaveyou. I am NOT politically correct and I don't give a fuck if others are offended or not....grow some balls and stop being so thin skinned. Bunch of babies, and as I have said in the past, I don't care what religion you are, what race you are...if you are an asshole, then you are an asshole...plain and simple. People really need to fucking grow up already, but instead they act like a bunch of babies that we need to shield everyone from everything. So instead of just being happy that the holiday season is here, now its not a Christmas play, its a Holiday play, its not a Christmas party, its a Holiday party. I mean seriously when does this type of BULLSHIT stop already. These are also the same people that made a big shit about a nipple on televison. A nipple!!!!!! do you know how insane that sounds?

Both. When Im at work, I say Happy Holidays, so I don't offend anyone. But it just doesn't flow as well as Merry Xmas. :2 cents:

You know as I said earlier that even as an atheist I don't object when someone wishes me a merry christmas I find this being agressive about it from some of the so called christians here kind of interesting and very much in conflict with what I thought christmas was suppose to be about.
It's like they want to shout at someone "Merry Christmas!!" for their own benefit instead of genuinely wishing someone well and making them feel that.
When did it become PC to be considerate of the other peoples feelings? Isn't that what christmas is suppose to be about? Not that you get to make a strong christian its Christmas statement no matter who likes it? Lighten up and be considerate should be something Christmas is about,I thought it was?:dunno:

I just had an idea for a T-shirt. You know the one where you put your T-shirt on back to front, especially when you are in a rush? Well, this one you can simply put on, it will be right both ways. One side will say 'Merry Christmas", the other 'Happy Holidays". You could add some colour to it, maybe black on white on the HH - no wait - that would be misconstrued as racist. Brown. Oh no. That's also colour. The whole 'people of colour' thing. Oh well, the MC side can be green and red.
Maybe blue for the HH.
I prefer Merry Christmas as it is an opportunity to convey the sparkly fun and excitement of Christmas, for those of us who care or even remember.
Happy Holidays is crap when basically you only get a day or two off.

I tried something different today. Every time someone said either Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to me today, I said, "enjoy my penis!" All but one were clearly not listening, and said thanks. The one that was listening busted a gut laughing.
I dont know a single person who says Happy Holidays......,I thought that was a politically correct thing that no one actually says in social situations
