Recently, my Media Player (windows) started returning the error - cannot play file due to improper codec. The codec used is not recognized. This happens for all .wmv files and .mpg files will play, but never have sound. I've downloaded a new Windows Media Player and adjusted my settings but the problem persists...suggestions?
