Medal of Honor Multiplayer Beta?

At the E3 Expo, EA and Playstation both said that the multiplayer demo beta for Medal of Honor would be released June 24, 2010. However, It still has not been released yet. Have they delayed the demo, like they delayed the game (it was originally supposed to be released Sept 30th, not its going to be released Oct 12) I am a huge fan of the Medal of Honor series, and I have and always will like it more than the Call of Duty series.

Anyone know what is the situation with the multiplayer demo beta: when it will be released and everything?

Its out now on PS3 on PC and waiting for 360. To get in on it you either have to pre-order the game or EA sent me an email with one in it.

I was kinda exited about this game,but it's running on the same engine as BFBC2,which isn't a bad thing by any means,but it just looks too much like a clone.

Another thing is that a friend of mine on PSN played the closed beta and said his main problem was that it didn't have hit detection.Hopefully this will get rectified before final release.

It does have hit detection, the cross-hair changes every time you hit someone.

The multiplayer was done by Dice, which also did another pretty big franchise of games.

I like the multiplayer enough to make me want to buy the game. It seems nice. I've always liked the Medal of Honor series more than the Call of Duty series. I am getting both games when they come out though.

I played the beta and it seems fun and all but def a rent for me. The graphics are kinda Lame-O, bad company looks better than this. There's all kinds of nice details with the particle effects, however the details look like shit so it does nothing for the visual experience. It controls too heavy too just like bad company, there's too much weight to the player. This shouldn't be cause its supposed to be a cross between call of duty and Bad company, that was a major disappointment to me

Its a rent, I will put time into it cause its fun and by then modernwarfare2 will finally be old news. However, madden11, nhl11, crysis2 and killzone3 are gonna be the real games to be playing over the next 7 months and Medal of honor doesn't stand up to those monsters one bit....

Thats cool man. To each his own I guess. I get what you're saying about everyone moves so heavily though. I think its more realistic that you haven't gotten in other games, where in other games you would have 15 to 20 lbs of stuff on your back, but yet you moved like there was nothing on your back. Main example is Call of Duty.

Crysis and Kill Zone are games I've never really gotten into myself. NHL 2011 is a must buy and Madden 2011 I'm def going to rent.

So everyone has their own taste in video games I guess.

Call of Duty multiplayer has never been about realism, rather a fast paced run and gun.

I havent played medal of honour in years and Id like to think thats been for a reason for that, the old gameplay was getting boring and stagnant. Call of Duty surpassed and improved and to the outside it feels like MOH is just trying to cash in on the current craze.

I got the beta on 360 yesterday and I have to say i'm not very impressed. It's a call of duty 4 clone with average graphics at best. It's nothing new really. I doubt I will buy that when it comes out.
