This battle between Mexican marines and Zetas (from what it says there) occurred a few months ago just a few miles from the U.S. border from what I understand but down in the border things have gotten scary, with the Gulf Cartel now in two factions, with some of their top bosses dead, the Zetas (the ones that tend to cut people in pieces and leave them all over town) are now starting to infiltrate the border cities taking advantage of the Gulf Cartel dividing, heavily armed cartel gunmen who don't get paid deciding to find their own way to get money, either through extortion or express kidnappings, it's getting a little more dangerous to go south of the border for a nice Margarita (either the ***** or a girl by that name).
And to think that just a few years ago Can-Cun was a heck of an awesome spring break destination.
