There was that thread in the "Talk" section, called "The German Thread". It was designed for the, well, obviously, german-spoken members here (And those interested in the language).
I have pondered lately if a new thread like that would a ) be a good idea and b ) might even pick up the identification with the forum for all the german-spoken people around.
