It’s been 4 weeks since I began my bulk and after a few tweaks to my macros and workout split, I think I’ve found a balance that works for me 🙏🏼 Since the start of my bulk I’ve gained 6lbs, 1lb of muscle mass, 0.6” around the hips/booty, 1.3” around my quads, and 0.6” around my biceps while my body fat only increased by 0.2%!! I’m sooo excited about the progress so far I can’t wait to see where I am in a few months from now 🥳

The key to both a bulk and a cut is to make the change to your caloric intake slow over time. A sudden calorie increase or decrease overnight will cause your body to go into a panic and will prevent the results you want to see! I increased my calories by 100 every week/2 weeks until I reached a number I was satisfied with. Slow and steady is the way to go 🙏🏼

I’m soooo happy with this progress 🤩 I’ve gained some body fat and about an inch and a half around my waist but it’s all a part of the process.

I’m switching things up a little bit moving forward, adding a 2 more HIIT sessions each week and I’ve adjusted my macros a little bit, too. It’s allll about experimenting with different things and finding what works best for you!! I love trying new things and continuously learning 🤓

Friendly reminder that weight gain isn’t a bad thing. If you want to bulk but you’re afraid of seeing the number on the scale to up, remember 2 things. One, muscle weighs more than fat. And 2, your self worth and value is not based on how much (or how little) space you take up. Be the bad ass babes that you are, size doesn’t matter 💥
