Man dies under 6 tons of his porn magazines

A lonely Japanese man who amassed more than six tons of porn died when a huge pile of magazines fell on top of him.

And even more tragically, the man's body was only discovered six months later when the landlord entered the flat to find out why the rent had not been paid.

The man's lowly death was revealed by a member of the cleaning team, who said his company had been hired to remove the magazines discreetly in a way that would not be noticed by neighbours and the man's family to save them from the shame.

See? That's why I hate print media. When's the last time someone's hard drive/thumb drive killed anyone? Now I'm going to be nervous walking around my shelf of blu-ray/dvds. And some of those japanese porn mags can get pretty hefty and you can definitely feel it under your mattress. I mean, that's what my japanese friend told me.

Porn mags are evil! My missus found one I'd hidden around the house years ago and I was in the doghouse for fucking ages. Thought I'd got rid of em all, but no, it had to magically appear in the hands of the one person I didn't want it too. Even more annoying, there was a power cut last week, right when I was in the middle of a session, why couldn't I have found it then? It would have been really useful. Porn mags have ended this poor bastard's life and destroyed countless other - Beware guys!

I kid about the mattress. I would've never thought of hiding them in someplace so obvious. But then with my mom, it didn't matter. She was like a prison guard on contraband check when she went through my room and would always find my stash and confiscate them without a word being said. I certainly wasn't going to bring it up.

Thats an awful lot of porno mags considering the average mag weighs about 30-40g (yes I have just weighed one). I used to collect them at one point before the internet took off, but only managed a total of about 500 which still takes up a lot of space and weight. Stacked up, my lot was about 2m tall (the height of a doorway).

Doing the maths he must have had a good 130,000 to 150,000 individual mags. If he'd have stacked his up it would have been over 500m tall!!

What a fool. All of that porn can be compressed and stored. Print it up later if desired. That's what I do with my shit.

No piles of papers falling over and the heat from those vacuum tubes I sell back to the grid.

i know, right? If i were to print out all the porn I have stored on external hard drives I could build a wall along the southern border. And make Mexico pay for it (that's a lot of f'n paper and printer ink).
