Just think: Peter Jackson could have outsourced the walking tree job to this guy and saved a lot of money in the process...

I thought from the first story I read that he was going to be OK. But just a few months after he got out of the hospital, looks like the growths are coming back. He'll have to have two operations a year to remove them... for the rest of his life. But at least he has some hope now, and maybe he'll be able to lead something of a normal life.

I believe this is an old story and in fact now the guy has been offered treatment that would in fact break down the crystals but he's refused it purely because his income is based on him being a showcase for people to come and see. There was a documentary about the chap on Channel 4.

Ya I saw this on TV a year ago did see the documentary.
