Mafia II

I keep seeing Mafia II advertised when I watch Futurama and Adult Swim. After weeks of having it thrown in my face, I'm starting to look into that game. I played the first Mafia game on the ps2 and was disappointed after a few hours. It got boring. Anyone play this game and if so what are your opinions?

Mafia for PC is best bet.

i bought it for the PC and its been great so far. really nice graphics, too.

its a very solid action/adventure game.

i playing Mafia 2 pc and was have some bugs like black screen but i fix it

I have the demo for Mafia II and I thought it was pretty sweet. I beat it in 15 minutes though. The first time I played it, I got pulled over by the cops for speeding. I gave the cop the money for the ticket, and went into the *** shop to get some guns. After that I did a little crime spree until I died. Then I restarted and beat the mission that you have to do.

I'm just going to keep the demo, and keep playing that.

Got it on gamefly for PS3 about 2 weeks ago. I thought the game was slow and took about 3-5 hours of playing before it got worth while... but I thought it was way better than yakuza. Didn't keep it long enough to finish it because it just wasn't entertaining enough to play consistently.

I have it for PS3. I already beat it. It was pretty fun, but no re-play value. All you can do is start completely over all the way from the beginning.

Mafia II is a really great game, tight gameplay and a good (but short) story. Anyone that's a fan of Gangsters will really get the most of it. The worst thing is it seems the Publishers (2K) left a heap of the missions out of the game to release later as DLC. This has reportedly infuriated the developers. This makes sense cos the story does feel rushed at times but plays out reasonably well. As a whole the game can't hold a candle to the first one (so long as you played it on PC) but it's very good and like I said anyone that's a fan of mafia related stories will really love this game.
