Maybe some of you have experienced this -
For about the last year, my OS X unit powers up most erratically.
For instance, If I were to shut the unit down, it's hell to get it to power back up for about 6 - 8 hours. After the 6 - 8 time frame, the unit will power up on the first press of the switch, no problem.
Now, If I were to shut the unit down and for whatever reason, attempt to power back up again, I can do so, but only within an approx two minute time frame, although, it still takes about twenty pushes on the power up button to get her up and runnin.
If I do make the mistake of accidentally shutting the unit down while being inside of the aforementioned, approx 8 hour, "Don't you **** me up from my *****, you bastard" :1orglaugh time frame, I can get it started up in emergency, however, I have to depress the start up button, some 3, 4, 500 times, while unplugging and reconnecting the power cord from the back of the unit. Ton's of fun eh ?
Lastly, the problem has not become progressively worse, over the course of the last year, in other words, it has not become more difficult to start, it just is what it is.
Anybody ?
Thx
