It is so full of ghetto gang members and other trash that pollutes the streets that it can't be considered as a town of the most industrialized and modern democraties. When you talk about LA, I systematically think about drive by shootings, gang wars between Bloods and Crips, Nortenos against Surenos, the Mexican Mafia and the MS13 as well as the 18th streeters. I never liked LA. I prefer Detroit, Dearborn, Flint or Lansing to LA.
I have lived in Los Angeles My whole life and You are somewhat right about Your opinions,Georges. There are a few good areas that still remain, but overall the city has been in steep decline for many, many years. My hometown is overrun with illegal immigrants, criminals, drug addicts, and gang members. It is a very unfriendly and dangerous place to live. Many, many neighborhoods are just "off limits" to law abiding, decent citizens unless You want to carry guns and still put Your life at risk.Even in the relatively nice areas We are forced to have expensive security alarm systems and most law abiding citizens are well armed in our homes for protection just in case.I have had plans to escape this "ugly city" for some time now,but with the drop in real estate prices, and some other personal matters in My life,I have not been able to sell My home for a reasonable price and make the move yet.--My goal is to be gone within a year or two if possible. It breaks My heart to say these things, but they are true.My hometown of Los Angeles that I loved as a kid is GONE.The people are mean, the traffic is beyond bad,the bad areas are increasing and the good areas are shrinking, crime such as break ins and vandalism have expanded way beyond the limits of the so called "bad neighborhoods",taxes are high,& not even to mention the fact that it is growing difficult to even find the simplest services such as a plumber or whatever that speaks fucking English.Unfortunately, the "wonderful" city of sunshine, happy people, friendly neighborhoods is GONE FOREVER.I was born and raised here and now I feel like a stranger in My own hometown. It really pisses Me off.I live in a pretty good area, and still nobody really feels safe, nobody is able to trust anybody, neighbors don't speak, people are always in a bad mood here.My city is dying fast.I just have to get out of here before the rot gets any closer to Me and My Wife.---It may not be a third world place like Somalia, but give it ten years the way things are going and it will be.---Anyway,That's the end of My rant.--God Bless the "Old L.A."-RIP......And I will still love the Dodgers.Sam
