Looks like Obama's health care is going to pass.

Legzman

what the fuck you lookin at?
Legz, I just can't agree with you. Unemployment ends. "Free" health care isn't really free.

This is not going to promote unemployment. It surely hasn't in other countries with much greater access to "free" health care.

its free to those who dont have jobs. I know we who are employed will pay for this shit! Its not gonna give people incentive to get jobs.

SOCIALISM vs CAPTILISIM ‘Remember” We don’t make policy here ladies & gentleman. Elected officials “Civilians” do that. “We” are only the instruments of that “Policy”.

Texas the most Capitalist state in the US is being surrounded by Socialism world wide scale.
let Gov Perry just try and succeed from the union and then watch the fun.

While I do not like quite a bit of this bill, I'd still vote for it. I honestly believe this is a small initial step in the right direction. I know there are a lot of people here who don't think the same, but I believe that with a few years of experience and discussion about this, and seeing that it can be enacted responsibly, I expect support for this movement and its future forms will only grow.

I think this is a huge moment for America. A good moment. This will pave the way to better things.

I feel the same way. On a side note, Fox News should be very entertaining tomorrow.

Lol at all the people who are losing their shit. Stop watching Fox News.

2 things...at least this proves Demos aren't conducting a rubber stamp congress and it's the economy stupids. If the economy is making a large turn and going in the right direction the voter ain't changing shit.

Undoubtedly GOPers are lining up their half-true talking points though and it is pretty humorous reading all of this phony outrage.:1orglaugh

Nothing more funny than a bunch of :conehead: running around being mad just because they were told they should be...

Go to the doctor tomorrow and ask to be seen for free.

I wonder how many people might do just that.

And will you trot out that post in 2 years if the Republicans come back into majority power, the Dems filibuster everything and nothing gets done?

2012--In a way this the THE final nail in the coffin for the Republican Party :dunno:

No I won't. I'm not afraid to say I despise the Dems. I'm an Independant/Libertarian who wants to see the Dem party six feet under.

And with these bastards thrown out of office in November, it can be overturned.

Won't it be hard to overturn, though? How many years would that take if it's even possible?

I'm really happy about it. It should give my mom more of a chance to live longer. She's got progressive MS.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I wish her well.

But you'd better hurry up and get on the list, because from what I'm hearing there's going to be a long line.....and it'll probably take years to get around to most of the people. Free health care..........sorry, but you get what you pay for.

I'll be voting for the first time in my life in November..........Republican.

Kinda like the masses that bought into the platitudes of BHO in 08?

With Democrats the thinking is if you agree with us you are enlightned. If you disagree you are blind mislead sheeple.

It is this kind of arrogance that is going to get your asses handed to you in November.

But you can keep hoping for a complete economic turnaround in the next 8 months. With those running the show now and with immediate higher taxes, the odds are stacked against you and your ilk.

:nono: Sorry... In our country it is STILL the POTUS who signs bills into law.:wave2: No matter what happens in Nov..(even though I think the lot of you will be as severely disappointed as Nov. '08.:))

It spells doom for the best health care system in the world.
Our health care is the best in the world because we have most of the best doctors and facilities. Not because people don't have access to it or because it is paid for by private insurance firms when they decide what they will cover.
A lot of Democrats insured their political fate tonight.

This was crammed down the American people's throat.

Can't wait for the mid term elections. It's going to be a bloodbath.

:rofl: "Crammed"??? Do some of you EVER think for yourselves instead of parroting the exact same malarkey GOPer bobble heads trot out for talking points????

"Crammed" it's been hashed out for a year. "Crammed"??? Idiots like Eric Can'tor have been parading around talking about how many pages the legislation is and how it hasn't been read. Why the fuck wasn't he spending that time reading it for himself?? Half of the jackoffs whining about what has or hasn't been read...failed to even read the USA PATRIOT Act....a legislative act which had FARRRR more implications for the American, his privacy and his constitutional rights...

Don't give us that "crammed" b/s.

I'll be voting for the first time in my life in November..........Republican.

You've been voting age for how many years and it is this which pulls you off the sidelines??? :1orglaugh "sport..." go back to sleep and leave running the country to the grown ups.:2 cents:

care to share what you don't like and why would you have voted it into law ? Why do you suppose that Obama & nancy were as passionate about this legislation as they were, aside from saving obama's future as president ? Do you really believe that our government is sincere in that they will go on to provide the best quality of healthcare that money can provide ? Personally, I believe that the government has ulterior primary motives, follow the money ! -> insurance and pharmaceutical company incentives if you follow where I'm going.
Finally, Social Security is on track to crash and medicare is in the shitter, now, having mentioned that, why are you optimistic about obamacare ?

I honestly believe this is a small initial step in the right direction.
<- left direction :nono: ;)
I know there are a lot of people here who don't think the same . . ]
. . been bitch slapped up side the head by nanny nancy and government louts in general a few too many times, yes. .
but I believe that with a few years of experience and discussion about this, and seeing that it can be enacted responsibly
that sounds like iffy medicine to me, mr. !,
I think this is a huge moment for America. A good moment. This will pave the way to better things.
for individuals without a sense of career or ambition maybe.:(

Yes, I would say it was "crammed."

http://politics.newsvine.com/_quest...e-overhaul-are-you-excited-or-angry?GT1=43001

These are results from a poll from MSNBC (liberal biased media mind you) and the statistics don't lie. 22% of Americans are excited about the new health care while 54% are angry. I would consider it "crammed" when the majority of the population are against it.

I have never really felt a need to vote until now.
Let's see, I could have voted for Bush.......meh.
How about Gore?.......meh.
Maybe McCain?........meh.
But one thing I'm certain of, Obama and his pals have to go. Our economy is already screwed up enough and this health care is a joke.
