Looking for help with vivid website

Hi,

I just signed up to the vivid website and I cant right click to save any pictures? Does anyone else have a membership there? How can I save the images? I sent an email to tech support and it came back returned, not to encouraging. Thanks.

I would believe that right clicking is disabled in order to prevent image stealing. However it's an easy way to save them anyway.

When/if pay websites disable right-clicking or otherwise impinge upon the saving of images, memberships will plummet and there will be chargebacks & disputes all over the place through members' credit card companies. I don't see that happening. Many models make FAR more money on their websites than by doing print or movie work. It's a cash cow. Running off members by not allowing them to view images offline/save images would be fiscal suicide, IMO, and a VERY poor business decision. :2 cents: :hatsoff:

Yeah but how else do you stop all your pics from being distributed for free all over the web?

I can get every pic say, Angela Devi has ever done for free from one site right now. And when she comes out with a new set. Just about every pic is on the web free and easy to download within days if not hours. And that goes for most models that have a website.
Why would an average person bother to pay for pics he/she can get for free?

I've explained this over and over and over again...

What you see on "free" pages is a smidgeon of what's on paysites, and if you go distributing pics you've collected from a paying membership somewhere, you can be SUED under copyright laws AND prosecuted. THAT'S what's to stop you.

If you're willing to risk your credit rating, doing time in jail, and losing your job so you can send your buddy, "Ilovebigfuckingtits@hotmail.com," the newest complete Jenna Jameson set that you got from her paysite, go for it, but I'd advise against it since it's criminal and illegal and Jenna isn't getting paid for her work by BOTH of you.

A brand new model to Foxes.com named Sugar came out with brand new pics. Roughly 80 of them.
Within a day or so, all 80 pics were being distributed free. The whole set.

I am no dummy. WHen I say ALL of Angela Devi's pics are available for free - on just one site I know of alone - I mean ALL of them.
Not 15 per set. About 60 to 90 per set. And I checked her site. All her sets. Not some. All, that I could tell anyway.
ALL absolutely free.
And it has been like that for months and months of just the time that I have been on the site.
I have mentioned how wrong it is to these guys. Do you think they care? Not in the slightest - outwardly anyway.

And this is just one site of many.

This will continue. Maybe they can be sued. Hasen't even begun to happen there yet - from what I can tell.

And who is gonna sue? This isn't multi billion dollar record companies that can afford streams of lawyers to go after individual song stealers and make an example of them.
These are pornstars that run their own sites. Crissy Moran is just now saving up for a boob job - apparently. You think she has tens of thousands of dollars to go after every 14 year old kid that downloads her pics and distributes them on the web? No chance.
Unfortunetly, the simplest solution (imo), in the short term at least, is to not allow content to be copied from your site. I see it happening more and more.
Hopefully, they will figure out other solutions.
