Looking at porn at work?

One of the guys I work with says that if you use 'Crap Cleaner' to delete temp files and cookies you can look at all the porn you want at work.
Is this true? Isn't there still some sort of tracking done by the server? Surely covering your tracks has got to harder than that.

Is it really worth losing your job??? Lets be serious for a second.

You can wait 8 hours to look at porn all you want.

I bring my own laptop to work and I still wouldn't look at porn while on the clock.

I think you should probably be WORKING at work. Hense the name W O R K.

I work my arse off at my job, and to think that some punks out there are getting twice as much as me for sitting around looking at **** on the internet, including porn, makes me fucking livid.

You should be taken out back and shot.

Very true, there is no point risking your job simply to look up some porn at work. I never quite understood the attraction of doing it myself. Just keep it in your pants and just wait.

The other thing is can you really trust those history and file wipers that frequent the net. Sure it gets it off your computer but it doesnt clean the ip trail you leave whilst you surf the net. It is much more difficult today to totally wipe what you have been doing. dont be silly and just wait.

lol, I believe some people have the job looking at **** on the internet and porn. Plus life isn't fair for most people.

I would NEVER take such a risk..
Technology today is out of this world, unless you work at a rundown 1960's type company. And plus it takes away the excitement of it if you have to sneak peeks at work and watch over your shoulder. Everything is better when its done in relaxation

Work is not about fun. It's about work. It's about taking as much crap as you can from your boss and then taking some more.

of course i DO NOT look at porn at work. i cannot believe anyone who cares about holding a job (other than looking at porn) would do something like that. fire the bastard :wave2:

I would never endanger my job for a chance to look at something for two minutes before someone walked by and caught me or I get called to the manager's office and be confronted with it. That is just dumb and stupid. Why risk the income you pay for your house/rent and all your bills, food, etc. for something you could do in the privacy of your on home 2/3 of the day for free?

Thanks guys but that still didn't answer the question about Crap Cleaner.

I would think it would work on your machine, if it was a stand alone computer and didn't have company installed spyware. If it's on a company network and they're competent, you will get caught, and as others have said; You shouldn't be doing it anyway.

I do surf internet at work that's because I rarely take my 10 mins break but aside from browsing fantasy sports sites or news sites I don't go anywhere else. My cubicle is pretty open to everybody so I wouldn't dare to surf porn sites even if I wanted to.

I surf porn all day long at work :D

The servers at your work would most likely be tracking all the outgoing and incoming packets your computer is sending to other servers.

Fire the porn surfers! The loud background sounds and oooooohhhh's disturb my desk-sleep. It's important to have 8 full hours every workday.
