Are you sure it's the plant, and not what they add to the plant, in processing, and production? And/or, are you referring to the required age, because I'm cool with an age provision for weed, in fact I believe it's absolutely necessary. I also know that the original marijuana laws were put on the books because of a greedy lumber baron, that didn't want to loose money to someone smart enough to figure out that hemp was a better, and more economical choice for rope, and I'm sure other products.

Maybe regulate was a bad word...can you think of a better way to describe how, and what they've done to make a simple plant seem as dangerous, and the equivalent of a needle full of heroin?

Okay, so the pro pot crowd would have you believe it's a miracle cure, in a Zig Zag, just like the anti pot crowd claims it's the first step to heroin addiction, and an overdose. You can make fun of it being called a miracle plant, but for people who literally wanted to die before they got their medical marijuana, it IS a miracle plant.
Does it do that for everyone? No. Is it free from side effects? No.
But it greatly improves the quality of life for many, many people to a livable degree.

Personally, because of my medical issues I smoke marijuana and I would legitimately not be able to eat, sleep or function properly without it.. I find the side effects to still be a great alternative to when I was younger and full of prescribed medications that ended up making me feel far worse the majority of the time.

Hell, I've even fed non-psychoactive cannabinoids to a severely ill pet and the difference it made was extreme.

The bottom line is there are a TON of people who smoke pot.. and they're going to fall everywhere on the spectrum. Some people are burn-outs, other people are geniuses.
It sure as fuck couch-locks me sometimes, but my quality of life would be a lot lower without it.. and cannabis as a pain reliever means I get to cam & shoot more porn for my fans. So weeeee.
