Not sure why that is happening. It is a direct link from the MSN homepage.

I would go with the Jersey Mike's number 8 or 9 clubs. I like their wheat bread too. Make sure you get them to put a little oil and vinegar on it.

I think Firehouse makes a better meatball sub than Subway yet Subway is 2 and Firehouse is 11. My injustice meter is going off.

Thanks for that.

#8 Club Sub

Turkey, ham, provolone, bacon, mayo - and of course - Mike's Way®!

The club sub takes the club sandwich to a whole new level. We use fresh bacon, sizzled to perfection right in our store. And in addition to mayo, the club sub is finished off Mike’s Way for a truly unique, mouthwatering taste.

Roast beef, turkey, swiss, bacon, mayo - and of course - Mike's Way®!

Made with our store cooked top-round roast beefs, fresh grilled bacon, lean turkey breast and Swiss cheese, the Club Supreme is loaded with flavor. Order one and you’ll be hooked!

Agreed. Firehouse does make a great meatball sub. I also like their wheat bread.

I saw a commercial for them on the TV.

British equivalent list :

(1) Subway
(2) Pret-A-Manger (Are they still going?)
(3) Do Greggs count? They're a chain and they make sandwiches....
(4)-(25) Supermarkets

We just don't try as hard as you lot, we really don't.

There was a Blimpie's in the college food court when I was an undergrad at SFA. They closed it when they renovated the student center and never opened it back up, too bad they were my favorite. Most of the rest of the list are regional joints I've never heard of. I've been to a McCalister's, and they're ok, Jason's Deli is meh, I can take or leave Which 'Wich, Einstein Bros is teh yuck, Schlotzsky’s is alright, Quiznos is better than Jason's Deli, Which 'Wich, and Eienstein Bros, and Subway sucks hardest of them all. Panera doesn't have a local location, they advertise a lot though, and recently so does FireHouse. I never like lists like these because until there's a representative in my area I know they're not truly a "National" chain.

Schlotzky's and Quizno's were my two favorite, but they aren't around anymore.Jason's Deli is pretty good, but seems too expensive for what you actually get.All the other places are either just ok or meh.
