I guess we lament because LDM was a big-boob natural back in the day...then she has a baby, annouced her retirement & reduced her boobs supposedly for "health reasons" - ok, sad news, but understandable.

Time passes, and hey presto! LDM unretires and has implants...now (to me anyway) she just looks...ordinary.

The best comparison would be when DC Comics took away Wonder Woman's super powers and made her just plain Diana Prince (around 1968 - 1973).
Or when Coca-Cola brought out that new flavour.
