Like so many stupid things many people do and say, it can only make you upset if you allow it. It's some ignorant executive that'll probably lose a bonus for making such a boneheaded decision. They've already pulled them from the shelves and unless Al Sharpton calls for a boycott, this should be the end of the story.

Read the comments at the link (a site called black voices btw).Those voices don't think for a minute it was just some accident and would very much like to see costco and the mfg of the doll pay financially via a boycott.Sounds reasonable to me.

They also had a white and a hispanic doll in the same costume and other dolls in the line dressed as other *******.

They should have dressed them up as sheep, that would have been most accurate.
