Not acutally, they are similar. If one person went into outerspace then one life form from other planets have been to earth. It means there are ways beyond ways that people don't realize. I'm not worried about it. I learn something new everytime I hear about it.

If that is true, anything can be a sighting, since, some things can not be explained. Why not leave it at that?
First I would bet you mean within our solar system and not the whole milky way galaxy.Galaxy is pretty big with lots of stars and solar systems and its highly likely that given all the possible planets who happen to be at the right distance from their suns and have water,intelligent life is probably out there.Very far I'm sure and as unaware of us as we are of them but out there.
And I would imagine were talking intelligent life here as I think its entirely possible we will still find microscopic life in our solar system somewhere such as mars or maybe one of the moons around jupiter are just a couple theory's that are around.
I understand what you mean and your right lots we don't know about our own planet yet.But that is really a good arguement for space exploration as it adds to our understanding of our planet earth.
I think anyone that doesn't believe there is life on other planets out there in the vast universe is extremely idiotic and arrogant. Of course there is life out there, have we met them probably not but there is definitely life out there. We are living proof that life exists and to think that out of an entire possibly infinite universe that Earth is the only planet capable of sustaining life is just plain stupid.
I'm sure we'll find some sort of microscopic life somewhere in the universe, whether it be a asteroid that hits Earth or sometme in the future when we have the technology for long space travel (which probably only means we'll be exploring less than 10% of the milkey way). I doubt that in this solar system we will find intelegent life, im starting to believe that we are the only intelligent lifeforms in our particular corner of the universe, maybe there are complex lifeforms out there in deep space but I dont think we will ever be able to go to them and I mean ever.
But, theres always parallel universes, and if you believe that theory, there has to be life somewhere.

Maybe, but wouldn't it be a lot cheaper, easier and safer to explore here first?
The multi billions spent on space exploration would go a long way towards discovering cures and alternative energy sources.
There are solar systems orbiting nearly ever star in the sky that we see everynight. It's hard to imagine that there isnt some form of life, either more or less advanced than us somewhere in the universe. I don't think anything has ever came to this planet. But it's almost certain something else is out there. It's pretty damn selfish of us to think that we are all there is.
I believe there is a a high probability that there is life out there, but I don't can't say I believe in something when there is zero proof.
It all belongs together. For example Venus and Mars, two planets equal to the Earth and yet unsuccessfull.
-Understanding the origins and dynamics of the massive greenhouse effect on Venus may help us divert an equal catastrophe here on Earth, ar at least hamper it.
-Mars, almost made it... now it is geologicaly dead. Understanding why this happened may bring us insight about our own planet tectonics and magnetic field.
Living on this planet also limits us. It is as living in a forest where you cannot see the forest due to the many trees
But if you take a ballon and watch it from the outside you get the whole picture. It also brings fresh wind and ideas.
This is exactly why the FBI/CIA keep all *****-related subjects confidential, and do not release to the public.
I'm sure they have enough evidence to prove the existence. It just seems that the human race as a whole would not be able to handle this information.

Or they're already much more advanced than us and :
1. don't want to communicate with creatures that they consider to be barbaric
2. don't want to talk to us because they're involved in a heavy war with eachother and we'd be more of a burden than help
3. don't talk to us because we're inside some prime directive zone (star trek viewers know what I mean. Short explanation, don't interfere with development of pre-(enter combustion system here) species)
4. Don't talk to us because they're too far away (maybe we're in a part of the universe comparable to an archipelago of deserted islands in the middle of nowhere, with only one island that's actually inhabited (Earth))
5. don't talk to us because they've evacuated their worlds billions of years ago because there's a gigantic black hole in the center of our galaxy and moved off to another galaxy. (largely the same as 4)
6. Don't talk to us because they're peace loving creatures and compared to them we're rather agressive. They might be afraid that because they have little experience in waging war we'll beat the crap out of them even though we have inferior technology. Of course we'd steal theirs as soon as we'd get the chance.
7. Do try to communicate with us but have trouble reaching us
8. Do try to communicate with us but we're simply too stupid to understand it
9. Don't talk to us as they're currently planning an invasion to conquer earth
etc. etc. etc.

They're out there. Everyone is just so far away from each other that the odds of us ever finding each other is extremely slim. We've had radio capability for what, 100 years now? How long do you think we'll be around without blowing ourselves up, or being destroyed by a giant asteroid, if we don't start looking for ways off the planet? <1000 years, give or take?
Considering the universe has been around for about 13 billion years, even if civilizations pop up quite often, it's pretty unlikely that the window of time we can communicate in and another close civilization can communicate in will ever overlap.

Also the planet isn't just the USA you know.That every other nation should take the same line and cover up as well is just not credible.
Well you never know. There might be some secret society of men and women that have taken oaths to never reveal their knowledge for fear of death as their punishment. They probably get together and hold meetings on how to run the world because they are the ones that are really in charge of what actually goes on in every single country.
