This is clearly a state thing and will be left that way. I don't think it will ever be brought up at the federal level.
it's a shame that republicans don't adopt more libertarian ideals... they are against "big govt" when it comes to taxes and rules for businesses, but when it comes to individual freedoms, they want the govt to be oppressive and tell us what we can and can't do

I'm a leave me alone kind of person too. I have my conservative values but they are mine as an individual. Others share these values too. USA constitution was written to preserve this basic concept and not to regulate.
The best example of this is the bathroom debate. Why this is a topic I just don't know. Get real, Is there really a fear of unspeaking things happening in public bathrooms? Gas stations have keys chained to cinder blocks. Go in with your *** or wait outside the door. 3rd bathrooms? Tell you what, all public bathrooms be ripped away and use pot-a-potties. It's taking a ****, fixing your hair, and washing your hands. Over regulations happen on both sides. Stop believing in the boogey man.

It's about regulating corporations to try and minimize the toxic crap they are selling as food or ***** for hundreds or thousands of times the manufacturing cost.
Most sugars/sweeteners should be ******* to add to foods, they cause so many diseases and **** over 1 million people in America per year, make countless millions more sick, and cost taxpayers hundreds of billions in health care costs.
