Left4dead 2 demo

Left4dead 2 demo is on marketplace for everyone right now. I'll have to say it is indeed a fun game but the graphics are f'ugly. They used the source engine that was used for half-life orange box. That wouldnt be a bad thing if it was 2001 or some shit but the game looks dated bad.

I dont get this one either.....Left4dead is turning into a decent ip for xbox and you use the source engine which has been around since half-life????? This isnt a matter of 360 lacking horsepower either and wasting money on a marginally better engine.........VAlve chose to use a very old game engine for some odd reason....:dunno:

LMAO........I have to admit to being a ps3 biased mother fucker the last 6 months. However,they won me over legitimately. And my 3rd xbox360 RRODing 2 months ago kinda put the cork in it for me.

oh yea, the 360 is a glorified paper weight I'll give you that. But the PS3 isn't perfect either. I've only had RROD once, that was back shortly after GTAIV came out. Been problem free ever since. Though with MW2, RROD probably not far off. But I have played forza 3 for the past week pretty much non stop so we'll see.

I can't seem to get into the Left 4 Dead series. I mean I enjoyed Left 4 Dead but after 2 weeks it just got boring. Waste of money imo. L4D2 looks the same will be fun for about 2 weeks to maybe a month then just get boring. :/ Maybe it's just me .

for that matter it looks the same as L4D. Which didn't look all that damn great to begin with.

I have no issues with the engine, it's a great engine and it works well with the game. I think it looks fine too, it's not like it's trying to be uber realistic or anything, they aim for a kind of "cartoon" look.

As for playing it, the levels are good and I like the new infected, but I think maybe there is a bit TOO MUCH going on. All the different ammos and health upgrades, it's better just being simple. The guitar weapon is awesome though. Spent more time using melee weapons than guns!
