Most likely its a bad hard drive. Get a new one, and hope that you can get your files from the old hard drive.

If mine doesn`t work i either thump it,shout at it or do both st the same time.If that doesn`t fix it then i know it`s f****d.
That`s about as far as my electrical expertise goes.

I've got a new laptop now, which has a ***** problem. It's got Vista, and when I right-click and open a new browser window, it shows a very small screen. How can I get it to open full screen every time? A small problem, I know, but still quite annoying. :helpme: :wave2:

You need to buy XP and install it
