Lakers Or Celtics

Im starting to enjoy Kobe, not so much his play but rather his interviews. Loved it when he was yapping about drinking all that wine and beer and then wetting the bed especially it being a nice big one:rofl2: I was disappointed after game 6 when he was all tight-lipped. Now can we all agree that MJ is still the greatest baller ever, or maybe until LeBron gets himself a couple of rings with the Knicks. Um... j/k?

Are there any white guys on the celtics?

There might be some but I couldn't name them. It's mostly black players and it's one of, if not the the only all-american team in the NBA. Just one of many reasons why I'll always love the celtics.
It was nice to see them win last night, especially considering that the patriots didn't win the superbowl.

I guess, I enjoyed the Celtics win, since I like KJ. I think the media made too big of a deal of these two instant star teams. The additions of Paul Gasol, KJ and Allen got them to the show. They are light years away from the 70's and 80's teams.

I thought the Pistons did a better job on the Celtics..

<<If the Lakers “wet the bed” in Game 4, as Kobe put it, then Game 6 was an excrement far fouler.>>

After the game, Bryant had no clue.

Reporter: When did you concede that tonight wasn’t your night?

Kobe: “Not sure. I don't know.”

Reporter: How do you see the Lakers’ prospects from here?

Kobe: “I don't know.”

Reporter: Is this the best defense you’ve ever seen?

Kobe: “I don't know, I've seen some pretty stiff ones.”

Reporter: Is there anything other than rebounding and shot blocking your team has to address?

Kobe: “I don't know. I have no idea.”

Reporter: What did Doc Rivers tell you at the end of the game?

Kobe: “Honestly, I don't know (laughing).”

jajaja. poor bastard.

Nikki Benz: Simply the best #1!!
Yesterday was one of the best days in my life.... Italy beat France in Euro and I saw the Celtics winning the NBA!!! Greeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!

39 points difference... the Celtics smashed the Lakers!!!

you need to get rid of Mr. Bryant. he's the rotten apple.

i gotta disagree, Kobe was the only one actually doing anything in the Finals, unless hes becoming a "clubhouse cancer" then do whats best for the franchise... get rid of everyone else. Personally id like to see Kobe traded to an Eastern team so my Dubs have to see him 6 times a year.

I'm a die hard Kobe fan, I wouldn't mind seeing him play somewhere else. I'll always root for him and his team. I just wanna see him excel, regardless of who he's playing with. :D

Assuming the Celtics keep the Big 3 and the rest of the team together...they will be favorites to repeat again...UNLESS...certain teams make bold moves to acquire Stars/All Stars...for example

Cleveland Cavs--Get Shaq. Lebron, Zarunus, Shaq on the floor together...plus the rest of their team...tough to defend and score on.

San Antonio Spurs -- get Dirk. Put him on the floor with Tim Duncan and Parker. And Genobili. Yikes.

Miami --Get Dwight Howard. Keep the Matrix. Plus Dwayne Wade...this is a great team.

Houston -- Get Gilbert Arenas. Him, McGrady, Yao Ming...shiiit. This is a team.

Phoenix --get Kobe. Keep all the other pieces. Scrap the half-court thing.

Detroit--Gilbert Arenas or The Matrix, Shawn Merion. Or Richard Jefferson. Bring back Ben Wallace too.

New Orleans and Atlanta have young teams and don't need to add veterans. They're solid enough and shouldn't wreck their teams right now.

Dallas/Utah/LA Lakers--may sell off stars and rebuild or load up on a combo of these players...The Lakers have a lot of problems. Pau Gasol was a ghost in the finals. He might not be worth keeping around, to be honest..

The rest of the teams in the league are too far off from seriously contending...
