KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) - A NATO soldier has died in Afghanistan, following three NATO deaths the day before.
Insurgents have responded to NATO plans in Afghanistan with a rash of attacks against those who support the government and its international partners. So far this month, at least 40 international troops have been ****** in Afghanistan, including 27 Americans.
One international soldier was ****** Sunday, NATO said without identifying the nationality. Danish authorities said the victim was a Danish soldier ****** by a bomb in the south. Three NATO service members died in attacks on Saturday.
