KISS (rock band)

i remember when i was in high school, my *** got me one of their cassettes fro ma thrift store. i put it on and was thinking...wtf is this ****?

im guessing you had to have been there when kiss was big. my *** likes weird music. also she's weird.

Ace Frehley must have lived a clean **** free life because he hasn't aged and gained weight like the rest of them.

Ace Frehley discussed his highly publicized battles with ***** and ***** in his biography released last year. In fact, it was him and Peter Criss' desire to "party every day" that contributed to the division within the band and resulted in Ace leaving Kiss in 1983 until 1996 and again in 2002.

The younger, thinner spaceman in the Letterman vidio clip is actually Tommy Thayer.

Exactly Killer B!

I have been following their work since I was a teen. I found them to be entertaining at times.

Now I think it is time for them to retire.

Ace Frehley and Peter Criss have been out the band for almost 20 years. Mark St. John ****** away. Who is the Kiss lead guitarist now?

I edited my post to include Tommy Thayer, who is 10 years younger than Gene & Paul. He also worked as the road manager for Kiss before replacing Ace as lead guitarist in 2003.

This is how I prefer to remember them. They way there were when I was a ***.

No question they were a great band in the 70's. Although "Creatures of the Night" (1982) and "Lick It Up" (1983) were solid albums too. I'm glad I saw the concert with all original band members in 1997.

One advantage to being in my late 40's. I got to see Led Zeppelin when I was 13 and KISS on the Rock n Roll Over tour although I have probably seen them at least 10 times.. I also saw Lynyrd Skynyrd 6 months before the plane crash.

I also saw AC/DC with Bon Scott Cheap Trick opened for them and Thin Lizzy Rush and Blue Oyster Cult in one show as well as Aerosmith during the Rocks tour.

Wow, that's impressive. Although I've seen most of my favorite bands live, I would have given my left nut to have witnessed Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd in their prime.

Led Zeppelin was on May 30 1977 on John Bonham's birthday. Robert Plant had the crowd to sing happy birthday to him. 25,000 people singing happy birthday dear Bon-zo! was awesome.

Kiss was still pretty good when they first reunited. I think they were at their worst in the second half of the eighties.
Now they should either give Singer and Thayer their owns masks or just continue where they left in 1996.
