I'd say money, little self control, and portions are huge.
I could eat fast food all day and stay skinny. Not because I have a fast metabolism, but instead I'd eat in portions. I could become huge from eating healthy food.
Just basic math of eating less calories than you burn.

It's depressing that a small doughnut turns into a humungous dunlop around your waist. (Got that from some other poster a while back - my tummy dun lop over my belt). Then its exercise like crazy. Imagine the rich fellow who invents some way of letting people eat all the good stuff with minimum weight gain.
